I'd really like it if they tried something a bit more story focused or with actual cities and communities. I know it's not their specialty, but it'd be a nice change of pace to see and explore something that hasn't fallen completely into ruin or insanity. Have more npcs in a community or something, make it closer to that Oblivion competitor that Demon Souls was originally intended on being.
I wish armore core 6 actually means they will try to revive old franchise like otogi/Ninja blade (by Sekiro team), Metal Wolf chaos 2 (by AC team).
They can still do Bloodborne 2 or Elden ring 2 , just continue to do more non-soulsborne games

Unless you mean Planescape-level story focus, FromS already tried (more) story-focused game - Sekiro, and it worked just fine.
Reboot Kingsfield and make a new first person action RPG, mogging Bethesda and Obsidian in the process.

is it bad that I played this for an hour or two and then deinstalled it? it just didn't reel me in. I loved Sekiro and liked DS1 and 2 however.
