From Dark Souls 1, one of the special items you can pick in the character creation is a pendant. It does absolutely nothing but it has this air of mystery around it, for a while people thought it *might* do something if you meet certain parameters.
There was a starting gift in DS1 called the Pendant. People worked TIRELESSLY to try to figure out what the frick it does, because the game was full of secrets and some of the other starting gifts had really cool secrets like the Old Witch's Ring allowing you to speak to the Sister of Chaos. Eventually, Miyazaki admitted that the pendant does absolutely nothing, and literally said >it was just a prank bro

For example some of the game's text implies (ESPECIALLY cut content) implies that the elden beast is functionally comparable to a silver tear and that may explain the nox's goals in creating them
Everyone in elden ring is a fairy, the lands between is a fae realm. That's why powerful characters grow fairy wings. That's why all the animals are so big. That's why the tree is so big.
That cut silver tear shit is crazy, it actually implies that the beast and radagon are the same being using marika's body as a home and that she's been dead basically the whole time with them usurping her and pretending to be her. I hope they bring it back in the DLC
