This. I already have all the games I'm really interested in, and while I do have plenty of games on my wishlist, none of them go on steep enough sales to make me buy them.
I'm glad I waited to play it though. There is a ton of content now, but I'm pretty sure I would have burned out early without all the new weapons to frick with.
Gotta love a coop game that doesn't require you to use the mic, so you can just frick around and spam voicelines. Reminds me of tf2.
MTA but I've had keys be revoked by Steam because the reseller used a defrauded CC to buy then resell.
happened with CK3 like 8 months after I bought it but luckily the site itself is reputable even if the seller wasn't and I got a full refund.
unless the price is significantly different I'll go with Steam
>Hyperstone Heist is underrated
It gets overshadowed by Turtles in Time and is generally seen as an inferior version of the game.
While I admit that TiT has more varied and colorful levels, I keep coming back to Hyperstone Heist because of the better music and generally faster gameplay. The dedicated run button letting you repeatedly tackle enemies is so good.
Fallout new vegas (+all the dlc)
Fallout 3 GOTY
Hotline Miami 2
Starbound
Half life (+ blue shift, team fortress and the other spinoff)
Yakuza 0
Rimworld and terraria were the onlt ones I had prior to the steam sale
Got Wolfenstein II for like 8€. Liked The New Order and The Old Blood well enough and heard this one was more of the same but a bit worse. Nice diversion after a hard day.
Yeah I already had like 30 hours in pirated Bannerlord but was sick of redownloading 30GB anytime I wanted to update.
Gabe's right, convenience really will win over a lot of pirates
>Mortal Kombat 11
Bretty gud >Company of Heores 2 and DLC
Fun, wish I played it in its heyday. >Rogue Legacy 2
Got boring after a few hours >Cruelty Squad
This game is fricked, good so far >Ori: the new one
Very pretty, good soundtrack. Still early in it. >Bloodstained
Surprised how good it actually is, fricking love it >Streets of Rage 4
Also surprised how good it is, devs really put their heart in it. >Cyberpunk
Havnt played it yet, looking forward to it.
This plus some unrelated DLC. Satisfactory I'm only playing when it gets to 1.0, I figured the price would increase then so I got it now. Cyber Shadow and Lost Ruins are going to be Steam Deck games.
>The Ultimate DOOM >DOOM II: Hell on Earth >Master Levels for DOOM II
Did you leave Final DOOM out of that list by accident? Or did you already have it (and none of the others) before the sale for some reason? It looks like Master Levels can't be purchased outside of the Doom Classic Complete bundle (which comes with Final DOOM), so I assume you must have bought it that way.
In any case, here's your obligatory reminder that Bethesda's Unity port (which runs by default) is cringe, and you should just install an open-source engine like Chocolate Doom or GZDoom. There's basically no reason for the Bethesda port to exist; it's just a sad attempt at locking down something that had been in the community's hands since practically forever.
>Did you leave Final DOOM out of that list by accident?
Yup, whoops
Got the Doom Classic Complete bundle >here's your obligatory reminder that Bethesda's Unity port (which runs by default) is cringe, and you should just install an open-source engine like Chocolate Doom or GZDoom.
Are there things I can't do on Bethesda ports? Like, are there mods (or wads in this case) that can't be run on the Steam versions?
Cuphead DLC is excellent, best thing I bought, have replayed Cuphead like 4 times since getting it
Neon White is second, my GOTY for 2022, really fun, great level design, great soundtrack
Deep Rock Galactic has been really fun with friends
Miku's game has been really fun, I can still only play less than 8 star charts though
Lovely Planet is fun too, I like that you have to lead your shots and be accurate for max rank
nothing
bump
same
Same, my wishlist didn't have any good discounts
this
as if I don't have enough games to play already, not gonna buy stuff I don't plan on playing soon just because it's discounted
Same, steam sales are terrible price wise.
This. I already have all the games I'm really interested in, and while I do have plenty of games on my wishlist, none of them go on steep enough sales to make me buy them.
This. I think the last time I bought something on steam was in 2014 or so? Dogshit storefront.
go home timmy
This. It's been like 5 years since Steam has had a good sale.
Yep, just nothing to get, nothing to look forward to either as far as upcoming games.
Sale?

Retrowave.
>deep rock galctic
>best 4 dollars
it was $10
This.
I'm glad I waited to play it though. There is a ton of content now, but I'm pretty sure I would have burned out early without all the new weapons to frick with.

I was going to get the Vergil DLC, and forgot about the sale too.
cheaper on key sites all year round ya monkey
no need to wait for steam sales it's not 2008
MTA but I've had keys be revoked by Steam because the reseller used a defrauded CC to buy then resell.

unless the price is significantly different I'll go with Steam
then don't use key reseller sites, use legit sites like greenmangaming or cdkeys. still cheaper then steam.
I am gonna pirate all those games.
Pic related
and TOP NEP
How did I do Ganker?
Outer WIlds + DLC
Resident Evil 4
Disco Elysium
Hollow Knight
Limbo/Inside
Pathologic 2
All very solid games
nothing i would rather play them for free from skidrow or codex
Thankfully, I'm not a PC cuck who spends hundreds of dollars on trash that he's never even going to play.
Creeper World 3, it's pretty fun
love me some jank RTS and liquid simulation
picked up Rabi-Ribi and Neon White but haven't played them yet
Decided to go for comfy Steam Deck games
Dusk, death stranding, v rising, journey, hunt:showdown
Sad zoomers are moronic enough to think these sales are good.
Cuphead
Papetura
Ender Lilies
Blasphemous
Ys 1&2
Ys: Oath in Felghana
Sanguine Sanctum
Fairune Collection
skyrim special edition
doom 2016
Nothing. The only reason I have wishlist on steam is because I want to remember what to pirate.
based, I do that as well
very useful, thanks gay ben
Bought the Ultimate Doom bundle that came with Doom 2, Final Doom and the master levels. Pretty cheap.
>What did you pick up in the recent sale?
Frick buying shit just to buy shit. My account is already like 66% unplayed games.
So play them
Just do it
Same anon, same
this
if i buy something its "its so fricking cheap and i'm sure it wont be cheaper+will play it soon
Only Miku
I pirated some of the games from the Cowabunga Collection, as that didn't come out yet.

Deus Ex for $1, among others.
Spelunky and Valdis Story.
Got Wolfenstein II for like 8€. Liked The New Order and The Old Blood well enough and heard this one was more of the same but a bit worse. Nice diversion after a hard day.
First sale I didn't buy anything in years
Real life's getting in the way of my gamer life 🙁
GG Strive and Yakuza enter the dragon, enjoying both immensely and first time playing either series
You're everything wrong with the Yakuza fanbase.
Half-Life 1
Condemned: Criminal Origins
The Forest
Judge Dredd: Dredd vs Death
AC: Black Flag
The Forest is fricking great
rate 'em
oh and Skyrim's only there because I got the AE upgrade
Deep Rock, Grim Dawn, Bannerlord, and Rimworld
Yeah I already had like 30 hours in pirated Bannerlord but was sick of redownloading 30GB anytime I wanted to update.
Gabe's right, convenience really will win over a lot of pirates
Buying games in sales is stealing money from the developers, you should only buy games when they are full price
most games i buy aren't worth the price even at 2 bucks
>Mortal Kombat 11

I spent days browsing games and in the end I just played Daggerfall.
This plus some unrelated DLC. Satisfactory I'm only playing when it gets to 1.0, I figured the price would increase then so I got it now. Cyber Shadow and Lost Ruins are going to be Steam Deck games.
Those are the games I got, I also got Encore DLC for Sonic Mania

It's a fine list but it feels like you made a Steam account like last year. How old are you?
>It's a fine list but it feels like you made a Steam account like last year.
I made Steam back in 2017
>How old are you?
I'm only 20

Bloons TD 6
Mirror 2: Project X
Natsuki Chronicles
Onirism
I wanted several others but discounts were mediocre. I miss old Steam sales when 50%+ discount was the norm. 10% - 30% and I don't bother.
>RE2
>Dyson Sphere
>The Forest
>Manifold Garden
