they have a science lab where they make a point of showing that they can grow normal food on a limited scale. don't know how big of a population it could actually support, but there's that. megaton on the other hand? no way in hell are they eating anything but canned 200 years old dog food and radioactive mole rats.
If Fallout 4 is anything to go by crops in this universe are surprisingly productive since 2 carrot plants are apparently enough to feed a guy year round.
fishe
pussy and ass
moiras underwear crust is a delicacy throughout the wasteland
>you can't just tell us that they eat stuff! food has to be represented in-game! NOOOOOOOOOOOOO-ACKKKKKKK
My brother in Atom they literally give you a companion whose sole occupation before they meet you is doing the groceries for the bunker boys along with a bunch of others.
>trade
so everyone in 3 is vindicated
NTA, but the bunker's population is far smaller than Megaton, which is considered one of the biggest cities in the game.
the difference is that the brotherhood was forced down their hole only a few years prior to the story, meanwhile megaton was willingly founded over a century ago in a place that actually makes their survival harder, not easier.
back to pedocodex you go
>With 28 named inhabitants, ten unnamed Megaton settlers, and four Children of the Atom
wow so many
Blame consoles, they’ve been a chain around fallout games for years. We’d have a joined up new vegas and probably one massive dc city area if not for them.
In New Vegas its clear that the people there are producing things and they even have tourism happening, pretty sure no one in 3 grows anything, there certainly isn't any tourism and the merchants that spawn around look like passerby since there is nothing linking them to the actual world either through stories or what locations you can find on the map.
Tl;dr Bethesda sucks
If Fallout 3 settlements could only survive through trade youd think theyd have a more elaborate system set up than the one caravan route that the protagonists spends about 5 minutes fixing through an unmarked quest.
What do they eat?
Ruby's radscorpion casserole, have you actually been playing the game?
Ruby feeds the whole town with her casseroles?
Yeah
Plot holes.
