    West vs East

It already happened back in the late 00s with muh open world and the hatred towards JRPGs that you can confirm for yourself did in fact happen via old episodes of Xplay. We're reliving that era, except the woke koolaid drinkers have dropped all pretenses of actually playing the game, and now they're just straight up warring over characters or whatever. At least Adam Sessler pretended to play video games

It's not even "queer" horny like they define it by the way. It's straight up woman horny vs man horny.
    Also safe horny doesn't exist.

There is a fundamental difference between these two
A goddess of temptation is seducing you for her gain, she's hoping you're transfixed on her beauty and will allow her to do as she wants
An android has been built to look sexy, she is, by design, inferior to you and a "plaything." You can make her as badass as you want, she's a robot, she either has no autonomy or an override, her being sexy is a result of sick desire
I don't hate attractive women, Eve's design is just nothing more than sexy for the sake of gooning

Aphrodrite is sexy to women because it's primarly not a visual thing but a descriptive thing and how it makes them feel
Eve is horny to men because she LOOKSs good
Women don't respond to visual stimuli as much as men and men don't respond to emotional stimuli as much as women. Obviously there's outliers but that's usually how it works.
That's why woman horny looks terrible (or can look terrible) but is usually shit with a lot of writing or heavy on story telling while men horny is mostly a visual affair.
Anyone beyond this is a cope by either women or by men.

Let me guess, you drink your respect women juice

It's funny. I wonder how women see Zagreus and *his* sexiness.

But really though: think about what type of person you are most disgusted by and you truly do see as inferior to yourself. Maybe a black burn victim down syndrome troony in a wheelchair, maybe a rainbow haired fat futa anthro OC with heterochromia and two horsewieners.
Now imagine PLAYING as such a character, and as the player character your motivations, feelings and those of this abomination become one. You become privy to this character's innermost thoughts even as they repulse you, and you spend many hours playing as them. The character becomes legitimized and humanized even, through a serious story, exhibiting a wide variety of emotions that aren't all related to their appearance.

          Imagine the disgust.

But have such a character as more of a two dimensional caricature object, something flanderized, something more of a flat stereotype that parodies itself and exhibits disgust toward itself through its very own mouth, soaked in dramatic irony, and suddenly that disgusting obese wheelchair futa furry abomination becomes a but more of a tolerable presence, as it's own existence serves to mock itself and express hatred for itself.

Not even the least bit true. Definitely didn't apply to Link when everyone was gushing over him and calling him a gay icon.

And it's clownish to pretend anyone respects Aphrodite that much. A character like Artemis, the VIRGIN goddess girlboss, is the favorite.
And oddly enough we see her as more suitable to play as. So really I just see jealousy there.

You're an idiot and don't understand gender and attraction
Aphrodrite is sexy to women because it's primarly not a visual thing but a descriptive thing and how it makes them feel
Eve is horny to men because she LOOKSs good
Women don't respond to visual stimuli as much as men and men don't respond to emotional stimuli as much as women. Obviously there's outliers but that's usually how it works.

Anyone beyond this is a cope by either women or by men.

Aphoridte is not sexy to women. Do not believe that fricking lie for a second. The rule is always that to support their own role as the "plain and modest but smart" girl that relies on bawdshaming others who are more attractive or sexy.

Which of course means conveying such characters as bimbos or villains or pickmes or airheads or incompetent or worthless and they get killed.

Once you start giving a character the same degree of competence as the "plain smart daddy's girl" then there's outrage. Simple things such as allowing a character to be serious or speak about things in earnest or have good morals. Based on their own jealousy and insecurities, that means their own delusions of "I'm smart and not like the other girls" and their pride in their own plainness is negated. It's like an ugly incel seeing a hot Chad who's actually nice, therefore the ugly incels claim to "niceness" is demolished.

But to claim women would ever regard Aphrodisiac highly enough to play as her as a PROTAGONIST? Absurd. The character is just a foil. Artemis is more popular.

And the whole idea of "you shouldn't ever be allowed to play as a hot/sexy character" is the kind of utterly moronic moralistic schizo shit that gave you the Pokemon GO fiasco.

According to what? Complete bullshit they're just pulling out of their ass now? Despite the fact that the character is one of the lesser popular ones?

It's simply horseshit. A completely false narrative, a false fricking rivalry made up on the fricking spot.

I mean look at a game such as Catherine. The choice there. What do you think the result is? Do you really believe they view the character Aphrodite favorably and regard the character witha a high degree of respect even 2 fricking months ago? I doubt even the writers would tell you the fricking character has nuance

As a rule of thumb, if someone has to go into a mini essay for why you're supposed to find one thing sexy but not the other, the entire opinion should be discarded. I don't care about your rationalization.

The problem isn’t the content, (although hades drys out my vegana), it’s the journalists scripted reaction and obviously liberal hypocrisy. wtf is “safe horny”? Hades is not sexual or arousing at all, otherwise they wouldn’t have to write hundreds of articles telling you it is.

        Anonymous

I know this is bait but I’m gonna destroy this talking point anyway. Granting moral consideration to a fictional character in the same way you would a real human is extremely moronic. But let’s say I partially grant your premise. “Real” women constantly dress sexy/attractive all the time. But if you or anyone that isn’t her assumed that she was doing it specifically to be sexualized people would throw a shit fit. Because as the saying goes women don’t dress sexy for men they do it for themselves. This idea that a woman being attractive must have a justification for it betrays reality and also shows that some people are so scared of sexiness that they feel it has to be bound to some self empowerment directive. Eve doesn’t need to acknowledge that she’s sexy by acting like a cartoon character in the vein of Bayonetta. No one is denying that Eve was made for a gooner audience. The actual issue here is that there’s this assumption that appealing to the tastes of men while not having Eve act “loose” means it’s tonally incongruent. Do you unrionically spaz out like a Hanna Barbera character when you see an attractive woman in real life? Do you have to actively drawn attention to this? That’s pretty autistic anon.

The obvious intent is to gaslight into pretending they’re pandering to viewers, but absolutely nothing is appealing. Not specifically, it's amerimutt culture war against all other cultures. Whether it's asian, european or fricking african doesn't matter, if it doesn't follow the cultural norms of the leftist burger then it needs to change. It's a kind of twisted irony that they've decided to call it "diversity" when what they actually strive for is everything to be and look the exact same.

In that the studio is located in europe, maybe. Fully under american cultural imperialism in every other way, and I'm pretty sure their writers and consultants are burger c**ts too. That's why you see this directed more towards asian devs, because a lot of euro devs (especially in the western half of the continent) have already capitulated and integrated into the globalist angloshit culture.
