Then after our battle in the middle of the city, I realized how special she really was. And then, after the Ace tournament, learning how alone she felt wrung my heart. It should be cool, having a date with Arven or Nemona depending on the player's choice, something innocent and family friendly like Cloud in the original FFVII but Gayfreak is too much of a homosexual company to do it.

She's a better rival than we've had in a while, but I really wish she had a little more depth. Even Penny feels more like a fleshed out character than Nemona does. And she definitely should have had a better team in the post Elite Four fight. It would have been way better thematically if she could have completely rocked you if you weren't expecting it. Then you'd have more incentive to build out your team and catch some Legendaries and Paradoxes so you could rematch her in the academy tournament.
