it doesnt even do that much damage on the enemies that warrant larger spells. its visually impressive the first few times but charging up a spell for 9 seconds indoors to use on one tough enemy in bitterblack is not viable or entertaining. people saying DD has the best magic as an entire concept and implementation are bottom of the barrel morons and think the animation is the most important part and worse yet, they act petulant when try to tell them otherwise.
It has the best magic system because caster classes actually feel fragile like they should, because you have different levels of skills for different situations, and because the spells look and feel strong. Yes, being a homosexual about it won't make that part of magic not important. The spells also have interactivity or dualcasting, which is fricking great in a party based game. Yes, the magic's biggest weakness is that the larger spells are hands off once you've actually casted them, but that doesn't stop it from being the most fun magic system.
another point about the big spells people like to post webms of is that they're locked to one class and other mages's spells are still very relevant and situational
doesn't matter if your glass cannon e-girl can wipe out a horde of fodder with one sorcerer spell if she's immediately exhausted and out of position afterwards
sounds like alot of projection from a shit tier wizard who blew himself up one too many times and blamed the magic. stick to your strobe light element graphics and "damage go up!" buffs i have to go figure out how to turn the entire world into gold and not die.
Noita is the only game where you are a wizard in every conceivable notion of interacting with the game. only a more powerful wizard can tell another less experienced why machine gun firing exploding groups of 4 Giga Discs is not the greatest idea
I have hundreds of hours in those games and still don't understand how the frick you're supposed to fight wizards. I just cast Breach and hope my fighter can hit them.
Dragon's Dogma

So it's basically boring as frick very-easymode like MGS5 chickenhead?

Noita just shows how dangerous and volatile magic (and a lot of other things) can be.
