I'm not sure about worst but it was surreal watching the undertale fanbase degenerate in real time after the full release. In the span of about a year it went from being just a fairly obscure quirky little indie game people liked when the demo came out, then it released and everyone started playing it, then there's all sorts of AU autism, uwu goat mommy and skeleton porn, deep lore that goes nowhere, fanart of wildly varying quality and content, ships of all sorts, autistic OCs, etc. I'm not sure about deltarune but I don't think it faired much better.
