we had one but the controllers got ripped out or something because I grew up in a part of NY where they were a lot of black kids and we all know what they do to stuff
I lived super poor and rurally, I didn't go into a McDonalds for the first time until I was like 25.
I never got to see these types of things, I never even saw an irl Blockbuster.
Majora's Mask. The fricking game would auto reset (assume to give the next kid a turn) as soon as you are about to control Link. The intro was too long so no one ever actually was able to play.
>Happy Meal dead because plastic toys banned >can't buy a drink because straws banned >can't enjoy a Bic Mac because cardboard banned so every sandwich is lazily packed in the same paper wrap >can't enjoy ice cream because plastic containers banned and now the entire thing melts and spoons are banned too
The controllers at mcdonalds were always either broken or so disgusting that even as a 7 year old I didn't want to touch them
The only "public" console I ever liked to play as a kid was the PS1 at my dentist's waiting room. It only had Gran Turismo 1 which I wasn't big on as a kid but playing that shit beat doing nothing for a half an hour waiting to have teeth pulled.
Lego Star Wars 1, but my parents never let me play in theae because of the germs and shit that stupid moron kids leave behind
When I grew up there was a gym my mom went to with a play center and they had Monkey Ball 1 and Lego Star Wars 1 too.
>One McDonalds had three gamecube games >It was Mario Golf, that one tribal game and the other had Star Wars >Place was renovated to have to more chairs and table >Other McDonalds had the classic N64 games and play area >Star Fox, Mario Party, Pokemon Stadium >Place was renovated and all that's gone
It's painful, but to tbh, frick McDonalds and frick everything about them
I have rather have home cooked meals instead.
My local Maccas had one of these statues of Ronald McDonald on a bench where you could sit with him and take photos. My brother and his friend climbed into the play area one night and sawed off Ronald's head. The establishment didn't dispose of the rest of him for a few weeks, and they put a plastic bag over where his head used to be for some fricked up reason. I think my brother's girlfriend turned it into a lamp.
None. Why would you need games? While you wait in line? While your parents are eating? We sit down, eat and leave that shit hole. Why would you spend more time in McD than you need to?
is that..... a liminal space?
homie, yo face is a liminal space. Frick outta here.
AAAAAAAAAA THERE ARE SUPPOSED TO BE PEOPLE THERE BUT THERE AREN'T HELP ME Black personMAN I'M BECOMING UNSETTTTTTTLLLLLLED
>Micky D's with one of these in it for 25 years finally renovated
Soul lost.
Sonic Heroes and Super Monkey Ball. Yes the control sticks were missing, yes the buttons were sticky and didn't work half of the time.
pokemon coliseum
This. I don't remember what else was there because as a kid I didn't bother with consoles unless it was pokemon
damn homie , are you a senator now? Thats some rich shit there
>ur broke and addicted to pokemon
>pokemon coliseum
That seems like a terrible choice for a game you're only meant to play temporarily.
it was, i played it for probably 5 minutes then never touched it again
Would be fun to go through the gym leader castle or play some mini games before mom brings over the mcnuggets.
Too bad that game didn't have those
Kirby 64 and Sesame Street is what I remember. I only ever recall seeing one though.
we had one but the controllers got ripped out or something because I grew up in a part of NY where they were a lot of black kids and we all know what they do to stuff
Lol I remember taking a fat wet alcohol shit into a large soda cup and tossing it into the ball pit in 2017
you guys still have ball pits?
Black person
That guy is almost certainly white.
Potentially south asian.
Big if true

spyro and crash
Why did they stop having play places like these anyways? It wasn't Covid it happened way before that
Sheboons incapable of controlling their crotchfruit destroyed them all.
I always assumed it was because kids don't play shit like that anymore but instead just play Fortnite and shit
When was the last time you actually spent time inside a mcdonalds?

Since when? They’re still giving out new plastic toys where I’m from.
Spyro
Are they ever going to re-open the play areas again? All of the McDonalds in my city closed them and never reopened them

I think it was one of the mario party games, I didn’t play it because who the frick wants to play mario party.
Ape Escape

I’m a zoomer so I only got to use it once and then they removed it by the next time I went.

Banjo Tooie and Diddy Kong Racing. I was that kid that didn't wipe his hands after eating my Happy Meal and I wiped it on the N64 controllers.
one of the reason we can't have things like that anymore in the US is that brown people love property damage.
Mario 64
I remember going to one that had Pokemon Stadium.

As long as it's not a haunted McDonalds it's all good
Those have the best fries
