XIV is truly for the high-IQ video game player. XIV players have tons of time to learn and study in between rotations.
Is it attention deficit if you're paying attention to 5 things at the same time?
You aren't paying attention to them all at once. You're switching between them constantly because that's the only way your brain can get that stimulus hit.

He isn't, he's rapidly alternating focus between different things. By having all these different stimuli going at the same time hes' actually saving himself time. If he, for example, only had the video game going and nothing else, when his ADHD kicked in he'd have to pause and find something else to distract himself before continuing. But with the music going he can alternate between focusing on the music and focusing on the game, but because he's a total ADHD sperg, he gets bored of having only 2 things to alternate, hence the podcast, the movie, and even a fan for ambient noise / physical sensation to focus on. All going at the same time lets him stay in one spot and not have to stop anything he's doing, and just switch focus just as whatever he's paying attention to starts to bore him. Which is every few minutes.

I was diagnosed in 1st grade and I still thought I was just a moron until very recently where I found a few videos on ADHD and realized that most of the shit that I thought was a "me" problem was just an ADHD problem

As an ADHD gay that was diagnosed well before it was the "cool thing" in the 90s, I actually dont like having multiple things on at once. I usually give a video my full attention. Though I often pause it and wander off to either think more deeply on the subject or to "take a break" from it so I can watch it later when Im more focused... which usually means it will sit there for a few weeks minimum. I absolutely do the 750 tabs though, kek

They actually are though, there's no reason to use a fan over an air conditioner. The heat they generate and the constant wind dry up the air and actually makes the room hotter. If you're feeling hot just drink cold water, it will do you much more than using your shitty 1997 fan.

I keep a fan on for background noise, because I have Tinnitus.
Often I'll play Payday 2 while watching something in the other monitor. Either a heist where it's all defending like Rats/Cook Off where I can set up the bots and now worry about dying or a stealth heist like Shadow Raid or Murky Station that I can take my time with and swap my attention back and forth.
