What games do you think are better in PAL than they are in America?

What games do you think are better in PAL than they are in America? It's ok if it's subjective or there's a trade off. I'm American btw. Here's what I know:

Medievil 1&2 - someone pointed out that they feel sped up in America, and that the animations feel more natural in the European version (where the games were made) and after testing, I agree.

Gex 3 - In the UK he's voiced by some sophisticated sounding James Bond type guy, which fits the bond themes of the game. In America he's voiced by this annoying idiot who reminds me of John Leguizamo.

Any other examples?

Leslie is in Enter the Gecko, but the black guy who plays him in Deep Cover Gecko is still better than Neil Gould, who sounds like an unholy crossbreed of Jim Carrey, Adamn Damnler and Mike Myers.

Shit i got the games confused. You're right. Just looked up fex 3 uk and he sounds just as fricking stupid as the American guy. I meant enter the gecko.

Ape Escape 1, 2 and 3 have better names for monkeys that are censored in the american version due to copyright (Tomkey Cruise -> Cruise)
Auto Modellista doesnt have atrocious handling

For me it's the Ape Escape PAL voice cast. Kids sound like kids and not 40 year old men

Are there any PAL N64, Dreamcast, Saturn, or PS2 games that emulate more easily?

PAL Final Fantasy X is the definitive version because it includes the optional penance fight and a few minor bug fixes over the original JP and NA releases
there might be other Square games where JP gets a "1.1" version after NA is already out, but in time for PAL to recieve the updated game, but that's the one I know off the top of my head

FFX International is the best version. All the PAL extras, English subtitles with Japanese voices.

European-Extreme on MGS2 was also a great addition to MGS2. Also the Substance edition (first print) came with the Document of Metal Gear Solid 2.

Starsweep got two different, low quality localizations, but the PAL one kept the elements the NTSC one disabled, such as this screen, the voice clips, and the vocal ending song.

The whole point of Gex is that he’s a NEET spaz who ends up becoming a hero, making him cool ruins the point. He’s the type of person that would’ve watched mystery science theater and quoted it religiously

Luigi's Mansion on PAL improves the NG+ mode with more changes like mirroring the mansion and changing some of the bosses.

A lot of them had superior translations (Soleil for eg) or heaps of bug fixes (Drakengard, Suikoden 2 etc) or both.

I only knew of this recently about Medievil. Its strange because I always just assumed his weird janky movement from the American version was simply a part of the characters personality Being a revived skeleton cartoony character. I always assumed it was on purpose. I don't think it ruins the game at all. Both versions in this case seem completely fine.

Both versions are definitely A-okay to play. I wouldn't ever think the 60hz version is "wrong" or anything, and running at a smoother framerate is nice too. But after playing both, I definitely think the PAL one is correct. Fantastic game either way.

This thing right here. US version removed all the cussin and as a result it feels really weird and off kilter- given the game is all about little happy pill people who get introduced to ultraviolence, keeping only a few cutsey lines that get repeated over and over is really fricking irritating and makes the US audience out to be a bunch of puritans

Nice, I didn't know about this one. From the same company, Wipeout 3's Special Edition is PAL only, and features tweaked AI, physics, automatic memory card loading, and extra race tracks.

I got the PAL version of MediEvil a few weeks ago and man it really does feel way better to play honestly, Looking at NTSC again looks way too fast now. Also was the walk/run toggle a PAL only addition?

No, but you need to have a dualshock plugged in and also enable it from the menu in NTSC, dunno about PAL

Frogger on PS1 is running too fast in NTSC, making it more difficult than it should be. The game was developed in Britain and PAL PS1 version runs at the same speed as the PC version.

I remember the game feeling hard, at least it wasn't entirely me being bad at it.
