i love factorio and civ. what you want is something that scratches your itch, adhd isn't just scatterbrain lack of focus, it also means hyperfocusing on things that do give you dopamine. so if i get in a groove i can play factorio for twelve hours straight

        Anonymous

Yes and being cute has meant people get aggressive with me and don't ever help me sort out my problems.
        I can't focus on anything.
I have unprocessed anger issues due to trauma.
I literally hear voices and feel like I'm a different person each hour of the day.
I will probably snap at some point but I'm constantly fighting the urge.

why is it very important to some people that other peoples' diagnoses are wrong

      Anonymous

cause most of the people that claim to have adhd are self-diagnosed and also suffer from depression, bpd and whatever the frick they can think of
a good indicator for morons is that they use it as an excuse for shitty behaviour

I play Platformers (I lean towards precision ones) and Rhythm games like Taiko and SDVX. I'm autistically good at them because of past bouts of hyperfocus where I would constantly think about them even while not playing

e.g. I recently just finished Spelunky 2 Cosmic 99 (an optional challenge of 94 random levels, base game has 22 for comparison) after 70 hours of grinding in 1 week. I personally believe as an ADHD person you will be able to find what you genuinely enjoy a lot easier than other people because it will immediately overtake a majority of my/your thoughts. At least that's how it is for me when it comes to vidya and music

I'm also decent at shooters but I don't enjoy them as much as I use to.

Thanks for reading my autistic post.

I should also mention - the things that overtake a majority of my thoughts are far and few between. That's how I know what's really for me or not.

thinking about life usually leads to me just wanting to kill myself so i prefer to just find more distractions

In the off chance that you are actually diagnosed with ADHD and not just someone who thinks they are suffering from it with little tangible evidence to back it up, here's my suggestion:
    >flashy rhytmic games (such as Patapon 2, One Finger Death Touch 2)
    >fighting games (Street Fighter, SmashBros)
    >idle games (cookie clicker)
    >FPS games (call of duty, TF2 could also work)
    >high octane racing games (Need for Speed Most Wanted, Mario Kart 8, Crash Team Racing Nitro Fueled)
    >minigame fests (like WarioWare games)
    >Vampire Survivors
    >bullet hells
These are based on the fact that people (actually) suffering from ADHD need something that constantly holds their attention. You could also try playing games that needs less attention and watch some videos on a second monitor. I hope this is not derived from self-diagnosis, in which case you might be a low IQ impressionable idiot, since ADHD is relatively low in the population (about 5% in europe, not very low but not as frequent as some tends to think because its skewed by those who fake it or they mis-self-diagnose theirselves).

Why recommend Street Fighter to people with ADHD? Don't you have to memorize lists of moves and read character guides and shit
