If you ever meet a Blizzard/ WoW player you can see almost immediately how buck broken they are, look into their eyes they're on the verge of crying if you talk about how bad their game is and how it's turned out. But they won't ever stop playing it, it's amazing they have been shit on so much by developers who hate everything about them, but these Blizzdrones will keep handing over money and paying the wages of these very same people.
Side note, to think, if enough Blizzdrones years ago stopped being so buck broken and stopped subscribing to their disney pixar animation game (World of Warcraft) they'd more than likely have WoW 2 by now as it would have forced the studios to do something in order to earn that money.
You don't need to believe me on this final point, Todd Howard said it himself that if Elder Scrolls Online wasn't so successful, they'd have made Elder Scrolls 6 years ago. Look it up if you don't believe me, and that's true for World of Warcraft, if people stopped paying, the studio would have been motivated to make a product to earn money instead of becoming another Valve like studio where they sit and passively earn from Blizzhomosexual subscribers forever.
Devs might not do a good job at making video games anymore, but damn are they good at fostering a submissive audience that will accept just about everything.
MMO subscribers are the PC equivalent to gacha players. They're just addicts. Nowadays the fad died because of lootboxes and live services battlepasses to milk those crack addicts. There is that core audience that just don't die out because new addicts are created every year.

they also market their games like a beaten housewife >time to go home >we go back >comeback
cosntant nostalgia baiting
>let me tell you about WoW >no, I have never played it, I actively hate it, hate the people who play it and hate you specifically.

I played from one week after launch (even had to buy an account from someone because copies were sold out everywhere) until the beginning of Cata. WotLK already showed signs of the things to come and Cata was the final nail.

I think the Diablo players are even worse, over 600,000 people spend 90$ US to play the game 4 days early and then by a week they all quit because the game was shit. I could see the problems coming out the gate from the fricking open beta as the game was exactly like fricking D3 where the game basically just shit legendaries at you while most of the time you are engaged in a resource generator/resource spender and then 4 utility spells game. I was like yeah no thankz. The story was also awful and I could see social marxist politics everywhere. It basically felt like I was playing World of Diablo 3.5 with diablo 2 lipstick.
Maybe for 20$ id check it out but with all that bs thrown at me I feel like Blizzard should be paying me money to play their shitty games and then offer them advice on how to improve them.
>know 5 people personally that never ever stopped playing Overwatch since it’s launch year >they don’t even enjoy it anymore >they’re always mad and emotionally drained from the purposely terrible experience >have no good things to say about it >they will continue to play it until the servers are inevitably shut down to save money
what the frick is with Blizzards power to completely overtake someone’s life
WoW, probably.
It's kind of ridiculous how many times they've basically told their community "you're stupid and don't know what you want, we know better about everything" and still make enough money to keep the product going. Granted, you get a mix of former WoW players who get fed up and leave, but enough stay that they keep going.
I had never played WoW and the first time I really looked into that game was when the "You think you do but you don't" dev went viral.
It fricking amazed me a dev would talk to their player base like that and it was seen as ok? That's so fricking wild to me.
Nintendo is getting there >Shut down legacy stores >Lock VC behind several tiers of paid online >Games never go down in price >Consoles and accessories are overpriced for what they are >Refuse to acknowledge the Gamecube's existence i.e. the last time they were even slightly creative and experimental with their games >Project all of this discontent onto other fanbases
I'm not a tendie (haven't owned any console in 20+ years) but I don't think the comparison in that pic is fair. It's comparing a general that's on Ganker for months on end to a slew of threads when news about a specific game comes out
>Project all of this discontent onto other fanbases
This one is always weird to me as a non tendie, most fanbases hate they own sphere instead of dumping the blame somewhere else.
Definitely Pokemon.
Both the franchise and the fanbase are EXTREMELY similar to Sonic in terms of quality, but Pokemon is actually very well-received (despite how shit is is), sells a lot and has an army of shills ready to defend any sort of criticism the series might receive.
I like how everyone pretends that Valve-, Nintendo- or Sony-gays aren't bottom of the barrel scum and just goes for the safe-/v/-opinion that blizzgays or pokegays are bad
Total War fans seem to think they've won but the Warbammer tourists are now all agreeing to buy the expensive as frick DLC and there's no hope of a good historic game again
>it's another thread of every singular poster posting their particular most hated fanbase, disregarding the already posted fanbases
you're a bunch of lone losers, all of you
Fifagays and Pokegays are cattle tier
Straight white men.
nobody gives a shit about wypipo
if youre a horrible, brown incel
whatever helps you cope pablo
wypipo literally live rent free in Black folk' heads
Sonicgays are a big contender
I'm pretty sure the average psychological profile of a long term WoW subscriber is close to someone who's in an abusive relationship.

Soon Yakuzagays
current total war fans
Non-gacha players tbh. They get pozzed slop and the same game over and over and just keep eating it up KEK
We're hitting levels of delusion that shouldn't even be possible.
Destinygays.
Payday

Blizzard fans.
Every single thing blizz did in the past decade has been a net negative top their entire community of drones.

all companies are scum
Fate… Gurando Ordah.
Paradoxgays who buy $500 of DLC per game
Blizzardgays have become real shiteaters
League, Destiny, D&D gays (who love to get raped and brag about it ), mmo's fans, sony fans etc
Skullgirls and by a lot.
Remember when they cancelled Megaman Legends 3 and said, "Oops, sorry! 20k people isn't enough to make a game!"
