extremely slow content feed, shitloads of weapons in the earliest leak that haven't made their way in (where's my two-handed fricking chainaxe? still not in I bet) combined with a fricked-up economy that they were very late in addressing, a lot of QoL shit going backwards from Vermintide 2, and a frustrating amount of slow rotating semi-FOMO monetization. They released half-wienered for whatever reason they had, probably monetary, and that meant they were running a retail alpha/beta which fricked up their whole pipeline of development, since now it's a live service, but not in as complete a state as they or the consumer wanted.
and before you say 'but what about the eviscerator,' I specify AXE, I want to maul the fricking maulers already and I've been permacucked in this respect since the VERY EARLIEST WEAPON ICON LEAK
I really wish they'd put in more classes. I desire Skitarii.

you and me both, though if I had to choose I'd prefer a straight tech-adept class for mechadendrite shit; I like the idea of having multi-armed melee. Could probably make them special attack variants bound to different Enginseer axes, so sometimes it's a frick-you chain lightning taser, sometimes it's a big clubby hydraulic vise claw, sometimes it's a big fricking drill to Shredder headshot the daylights out of Crushers & such.

I mean I'm down it's just that a tech-priest seems vastly above what the frick the other options are. Then again Vermintide 2 had Gruber as a Grail Knight option.

there's low-power equivalents for cogboys beside Skitarii, it'd be easy to fall back on Codex lore or Fantasy Flights' Dark Heresy, where jobber Tech-Priests/Adepts are a basic class option.
this anon gets it. The game just wasn't done and is a step back from Vermintide 2. Fatshark does good support, but takes a legendarily long time to do it. If you want them to actually ptu content in (like, I dunno, some more FRICKING CLASSES. Quarterly my left nut) then you'd be better off having a kid, raising it to be a programmer and then making your own updates. You'd still beat fatshark to their first real content patch.
Pretty much said as well as blatantly predatory design, both for their cash shop and artificially inflating "Engagement" stats to show their investors.
Parts of the game show a lot of love, but everything else reeks of meddling and/or laziness.
I still haven't really felt like giving it another chance. I expected to be at least a little disappointed, as is kind of just the norm with most 40k video games, but not in that kind of way.
Played it for 200 hours at launch. All I ever wanted was more content and more build variety.
Monetization, itemization etc. were all non-issues to me.
I took a nap.
I enjoy it still with my friends

>where's my two-handed fricking chainaxe
That's been in for a while man.
no anon, two-handed
TWO
HANDED

Actually I'm moronic and read "chainaxe" as "chainsword," by bad anon.
that's okay, you're not as moronic as Fatshark for not developing out the two-handed chainaxe for almost a GODDAMN YEAR
I NEED SKULLS

Build your own programming slaves
Released a year before it should have

Based on the talent trees coming out in a month or so, they rushed it out too early.
ran like ass last time i tried it
Typical fatshark experience it will be good about a year from today
snow
It's really hard not to compare it to Vermintide but when you do it's pretty disappointing.
meanwhile vermintide 2 still get map ports, updates and events and the fricking witch 4th class.
It's basically still in early access
Just got a thunder hammer for my zealot, new favorite weapon acquired. Click, FZZZZZZZZZZ BONK!
As unfinished shit is I do love the thunder hammer.
Hell yeah, I don't particularly like how the pysker plays but also yeah hard to say no to more options.
I'm eagerly awaiting the new (and I'm going to assume original idea for) skill system, as a psyker player, I'll always welcome more psyker powers.

>Played the beta
>Create a character
Instantly dropped
no bounty hunter equivalent for the john wick experience
also 99% chance the perf. is still as bad as in the beta
The ngubu pilot is extremely off-putting. Sad sign of the times to see them putting stuff like this in their games.
