They made better RPGs than what Game Freak is making nowadays >b-but muh animations!
Don't care. They're fluid, give the mons personality, and are above all, good.
Yeah, you're right. I actually haven't played the games. My Shadow Qwilfish and Shiny Mew ribbons masters don't actually matter because I never bothered to beat the game to trade with the GBA games, and I never bothered to clear Mt. Battle with them to get the Earth Ribbon before transferring. I'm a fraud.
It doesn't matter if you're being sarcastic. I still know you didn't play their games.

Huh?
I'd love to see you debunk me not playing any of the Orre games now. (Excuse Flygon's level. 99% sure I attempted Mt. Battle with it. I'd rather not Yawngay my way through if I can help it.)

yeah because you can fastforward through the moronicly slow animations that make the game otherwise borderline unplayable.

Piloswine alongside Yanma both evolve due with ancientpower in Gen4. Piloswine and Yanma are both Gen2 mons. Mammoswine and Yanmega are both Gen4 mons.
Yeah, you're right. I actually haven't played the games. looked them up because i was genuinely curious, apparently they're still around but they mostly just work on pokemon spinoffs and some rpg called denpa men. last game they developed was pokemon cafe mix a few years ago
>Nintendo has announced that it has funded a new start-up company headed up by Manabu Yamana, the lead developer behind Dragon Quest 7, arguably the best game in the Enix RPG series.
>The studio, funded by former Nintendo president Hiroshi Yamauchi’s Q Fund, a cash reserve set aside to fund Nintendo-focused game start-ups, will carry the name Genius Sonority and is currently underway with a full-scale recruitment program.
>We can reveal that the new firm, powered by an initial cash injection of 100 million yen, will concentrate solely on developing role playing games for both of Nintendo’s current machines, the Game Boy Advance and the GameCube.
Nintendo gave them funding (100 million yen) to make RPGs for the GBA and Gamecube. They don't need them for that anymore, so they cut their funding. Most of the staff moved over to Game Freak and Creatures Inc. leaving behind a skeleton crew for mobile games
devs that made Colosseum and Xtra Dark got reabsorbed into GF, rumor is battle revolution was going to be if not a sequel then at least a similar kind of rpg originally but they realized they had nowhere near enough time.
I'm 100% confident that the gamecube rpg devs would have made a superior game if they were allowed the same freedom. They want to from knowing literally nothing about pokemon to giving them personality and having interesting battles and gameplay concepts like the battle cds and battle bingo. It was just the lack of traditonal wild battles and routes missing really
Colosseum and XD were very in-line with console RPGs of the time like Star Ocean 3 and Dark Chronicle.
I think if you'd have kept getting games from GS, you would have ended up with Star Ocean 5 for Pokemon.
And a shitty assortment of "Rental Passes" instead of a full dex Rental selection like stadium.
You could potentially play Stadium without a GB game, but Battle Revolution just fricked you.
Everything went to shit at GS when the guy behind that one sex-powered human-motorcycles manga quit working on vidyas to become an orchestra contudtor.
Masuda got jealous and afraid of them.
>Masuda [fanfic]
Absorbed into the main staff more or less.
I miss Shuffle
Shuffle sucked ass but some of the music was good

>They made better RPGs than what Game Freak is making nowadays
true
I love the UI and battle animations in this. Maybe it's Pokemon Stadium nostalgia.
No, the UI is peak 2000's and the animations are probably the best out of any pokemon game, but battle Revolution is probably better
looked them up because i was genuinely curious, apparently they're still around but they mostly just work on pokemon spinoffs and some rpg called denpa men. last game they developed was pokemon cafe mix a few years ago
Turner
the colosseum staff got absorbed into Game Freak and the remaining devs are stuck making PokeCafe updates until the sun explodes
They fulfilled their purpose

Masuda was mad they made better games.

dissolved into a small team that made software for the 3ds camera function, then liquidated completely

You can probably finish the entire Elite Four in Emerald in the time it takes you to do one 6v6 Colosseum battle.
