Best I can offer is that I recently played emerald and got my first pre-gen 6 shiny. It was only a zubat, but it felt good to finally check that off the list after a lifetime of playing pokemon
I did also technically get a shiny in Colosseum, but I specifically hunted for that, so I wouldn't count it
