I’ll look it up, thanks. I once tried to emulate Xenoblade 2 and that was an awful experience – didn’t mind buying it though, since JRPGs are comfy on the go (work trips etc.), but these 8-hour-long platformers are something I could just emulate instead (Tropical Freeze, New Super Mario Bros U, 3D World etc.)
I've played for a few hours and honestly had none of those.

It didn't really start for me until the gachashit is introduced. For some reason interacting with it gives the emulator heart attacks.

If you're talking about using core crystals, this also went smoothly for me.
Mind you, I did finish the game on the Switch before, so it's not like I don't know how it should go. I was using Yuzu Early Access back then though, now that they paywalled it I haven't played the game on the normal version yet. But all games I've tried either work without a hitch or have bugs that get patched out within a couple of weeks for new releases, which was the case for XB3 for instance.
I didn't say I dislike Nintendo. Wave Race Bluestorm, Mario Golf Toadstool Tour, Bloody Roar... there are definately a few things that I don't mind playing.
Not sure if I used a mod but the game run fine native at 60fps upscaled to 1440p
it drop fps tho when there is too much enemy on the gameplay part but it's not really a problem.
I got it all working for TOTK except i got this issue that's kinda annoying right now. When you try to quickly climb a ladder by jumping, At the end, Link won't get up and you'll fall straight to the ground.
>Ryujinx is a very stable emulator >Yuzu is very unstable but has cool thing like a virtual switch keyboard to use inside the games like it was a switch
I really just wanted to use Ryujinx but that's such a good feature to just be able to use your controller for everything.
Probably. Are you using ryujinx? But yes you can't have a decade old cpu to enjoy these emulators unfortunately. Maybe you should change to yuzu because it actually support old cpus better.
Because 1HKO'ing everything isn't even playing the game?
At that point you're just seemingly "playing" to checklist off that you "played" it, rather than actually enjoying it.
it's so strange

It seems strange that you're arguing about complexity of a game that children play. Are you proud of yourself? The gatekeeping is hilarious
there's no need for hostility
what he means is that if you're ultimately one shooting them in ways that the game clearly doesn't intend for you to do then you can't really say you're pulling the game? I can understand fast forwarding through boring parts but if literally nothing has no chance why even waste time playing? Might as well just watch all the cutscenes on YouTube.
the actual vanilla game is almost like that already so cheating cheating makes the victories even more meaningless than they already were before. It's your prerogative but playing that way just seems redundant.

Well given that people are playing on the emulators, which is not exactly how the game devs intended for their games to be played, I don't think any gatekeeping is valid in the first place lmao. You're not the target audience for the game and are wasting your time.
Why does it interest gays whether or not I jerk off to the way I game? Are you homosexual?

False equivalence. Hardware for consoles are generally standardized, and besides that, hardware past a certain point and a game being vanilla would have no bearing on how a game would play, especially a turnbased game. You would get a Scorbunny regardless of if you were playing on switch or not. >I don't think any gatekeeping is valid in the first place lmao.
I literally said it's your perogative. You can do what you want with your game, I just wonder how you find it enjoyable. >Why does it interest gays whether or not I jerk off to the way I game? Are you homosexual?
Getting needlessly defensive.
Monster hunter GU has run pretty well, but CTR has been my eternal struggle. I can't quite maintain 60fps, but the original 30fps feels like it's got input delay.
Xenoblades if you're into that (make sure to get all the DLC).
Bayonetta including the new Cereza spinoff.
Astral Chain but whether you'll like it or not I've got no idea, the game felt weirder than W101 to me.
Possibly Rain Code, but I barely played it yet.
13 Sentinels
Metroid Dread
SMTV if you don't want to wait for the PC version.

+ fire emblem and kirby
there are a few more games but most of them are getting PC ports so...
it's fricking shit. it keeps stuttering and the load times are awful
But enough about Ryujinx
I’ve got a Switch, but there are a few games I’d rather emulate instead. How’s Tropical Freeze and New Super Mario Bros on Yuzu?
I played botw on emu perfectly I can imagine those 2 are also running perfectly. I believe there is a list of games that work well somewhere
I’ll look it up, thanks. Xenoblade 2 is great on Yuzu, though? Are you using patches/mods to make the game look nice?
Maybe now, but it sure as hell wasn’t back then.
>Xenoblade 2 is great on Yuzu
If you don't mind the game locking up or crashing and constant visual glitches
I've played for a few hours and honestly had none of those.

RPCS3, PCSX2, Xenia, Dolphin.
Haven't used Yuzu yet. I'm not a big nintendo fan
>I'm not a big nintendo fan
Based
I didn't say I dislike Nintendo. Wave Race Bluestorm, Mario Golf Toadstool Tour, Bloody Roar... there are definately a few things that I don't mind playing.
Pikmin 4
George latest game
is there a 60fps mod?
why would you need 60 fps in a visual novel?
in a game without gameplay?
Not sure if I used a mod but the game run fine native at 60fps upscaled to 1440p
it drop fps tho when there is too much enemy on the gameplay part but it's not really a problem.
fricking nothing
uninstalled both yuzu and ryu when there was nothing worth playing
I looked at the library and there really isn't, what the hell has nintendo been doing?
I got it all working for TOTK except i got this issue that's kinda annoying right now. When you try to quickly climb a ladder by jumping, At the end, Link won't get up and you'll fall straight to the ground.
Being a woman 😉
So much for this
>Tendies don't give a shit about how you experience a game
These people literally @FBI and @Nintendo whenever emulator or romhack news blows up.
>Ryujinx is a very stable emulator

I really just wanted to use Ryujinx but that's such a good feature to just be able to use your controller for everything.
I can run TOTK locked at 60 at 4k. Everyone else I see emulating drops to 30 fps in villages.
I guess it's my CPU?
Probably. Are you using ryujinx? But yes you can't have a decade old cpu to enjoy these emulators unfortunately. Maybe you should change to yuzu because it actually support old cpus better.
Oh i read it wrong. You are actually running your game fine. But yes it's CPU
RyujinX
Emulating Pokemon Sword.
Damage multipler cheats and Inf HP cheats dont work.
Verion 1.3.2
Err not sword, Scarlet
>cheating in pokemon games
>cheating in MODERN pokemon games
how are you even having fun
I dont have time to strategize. Brute force single hit kill is what I want.
>Brute force single hit kill is what I want.
why not just watch a playthrough at that point
Why would I do that? Are you a braindead moron?
Because 1HKO'ing everything isn't even playing the game?

Mario Odyssey
just played for like 10 min and yeah it's a masterpiece
such a refreshing game after hours of stupid open world rpg's I've been playing
TotK, but I haven't played it in a while.
PPSSPP on my phone playing ratchet and clank
I've had 13 Sentinels downloaded for a while but I need to get through Etrian Odyssey first...
I dont know a safe place to download the games
Vimm
AetherSX2 on my phone playing Shadow of the Colossus. Also got Citra and looking to get Kid Icarus: Uprising later
It doesn't have switch games.
He's right, all the games with switch roms on them look like mexican malware sites.
Use an adblocker and don't run any .exe files.
Monster hunter GU has run pretty well, but CTR has been my eternal struggle. I can't quite maintain 60fps, but the original 30fps feels like it's got input delay.
Citra added the ability to have each screen as a separate window. Playing with a dual monitor setup is pretty neat.
YOU reading this.
what are some good games that are worth emulating? I've played Mario Odyssey and both Zeldas
Xenoblades if you're into that (make sure to get all the DLC).
Bayonetta including the new Cereza spinoff.
Astral Chain but whether you'll like it or not I've got no idea, the game felt weirder than W101 to me.

honestly just this

>NOOO THE HECKIN BILLION DOLLAR COMPANY HOW WILL THEY SURVIVE
if you rip the games you buy on your homebrew console it isn't stealing
go shut your internet off
>Played it on switch
>Played it on ryujinx
SMT V is so good.
TotK and God Hand
Disney Illusion Island
MMBN collection, sure enough I could play the originals on the GBA emulator but still.
On the last chapter of Rain Code. Cool game probably worth the price tbqh
Might play Fire Emblem Engage next, that or the PMD remake
PMD remake is really good i recomend it anon. You can also just play the origina gba game that one is also fine.
