What hobbies do you guys have besides vidya? I feel I've over invested myself into vidya and I'm wanting to branch out more.

Guns, can't shoot for shit, but its still fun going to the shooting range.
I don't have one. Anytime I start something I give up almost instantly.
My buddies are super into guns. They're a lot of fun to shoot but it seems really expensive to collect like they do.
I fricking hate the range
I used to go with my cousins and friends at their property in the middle of nowhere but that was a long time ago
I read sometimes I guess
And I think about killing myself if that counts
None
I don't like games either
Archery and playing piano.
Hobbies? Im a responsible adult, I work a full-time job, I don't have time for that.
You're not an adult unless you have kids
whatever makes you feel better about yourself for regrettable lifelong consequences resulting from the first time you managed to have sex lad
It's a fact, keep coping forever and ever
>own a condo
>bought my car new
>salary accounting job
>ETS'd army E-5
i'm sure you spend your life running away from all the responsibilities you irresponsibly committed to, as you watch your life going nowhere. And then imagine being irresponsible enough to have kids in this doomed world. Cheers
boot boy
nah, he's a finance guy, not a boot
he makes sure boots don't get their base pay increases and housing allowances until they complain hard enough
t. zoomer morons
>you're not an adult unless your life sucks
lol
Legos and their knock off brands
Model railways
(E)RP and writing
Fricking around with AI text gen
Do you not have weekends or something?
mostly reading books
I collect toys
machining and carpentry
and drinking
>wake up 4:30 am
>get back home from work at 4:45 PM
>bathe and eat and it's already 6:00 PM
>2 hours for myself before i have to get to bed before another day of wageslaving
i usually spend the 2 hours just sitting on the couch
Do you have a really long commute or something?
is it too late for me if everything sounds boring?
yes
youre probably depressed. do you go to the gym? i know this is such stereotypical advice but getting into the routine of going to the gym and pushing yourself to the limit each time makes you feel alive and it will make you enjoy suffering to an extent
If you're depressed and you feel like all you do is go to work and sleep, doing this will make it even worse btw
I think reading is the best pastime. You can buy a Kindle for one hundred bucks and pirate books from libgen.
Trekking, Gardening, DiY, like vidya I'm alone and I play them single player
Listening to music. I mean simply laying in bed, staring at the ceiling, and solely listening to music.
I read and write. This is what I've read this year
is this a meme image or something? theres no way you read this slop
HEMAchads where are we?
i like to play yugioh, shoot guns, ride my motorcycle, and go fishing. however after recently moving to .de^^ i don't have my guns, so i just travel whenever i can. switzerland is beautiful btw
Switzerland is the prettiest place I've ever been, it's just unreal. I spent a few days in Einsiedeln when I was a teenager, mostly to visit the Einsiedeln Abbey, and the surrounding countryside was just unbelievably beautiful
I think I know you.
antisemitism
I like to read, write and make my own video games. I also enjoy streaming video games and chatting with whoever shows up. The only physically demanding hobby I have, if I can really call it a hobby, is hiking.
Reading, drawing, listening to my favorite albums/discovering new music.
oh and studying/refreshing my brain on mathematics. Which reminds me, I gotta do that soon, my brain is slowing down.
Drawing and watching anime
Board games. Reading. Masturbation.
I raise chickens and do a lot of land/home improvement
also movies and music but those are pretty mundane
I love chickens. I wanna keep some once I've settled down somewhere
I wish I had a home of my own so I could raise chickens. Love those lil fellas.
In descending frequency
>Following sumo
>Running, hiking
>Amateur colorist
>Watching East and South East Asian movies, mostly Japanese and Korean
>Rarely reading classic fiction, maybe 3-4 books a year
I've been wanting to get back into drawing, too, but I haven't committed to it. Was always very talented at it, but I hate the creative process.
Nice wieners. Chickens put me on edge even though my family raised some.
As the guy above me said, you're probably clinically depressed.
bicycling on trails is fun cuz you're both outside and getting exercise
i also read at night before bed and it's become a nice habit away from gaming
>I hate the creative process
same, but I also hate other creatives. they're always either head-up-their-own-ass or immense homosexuals. not a lot of down to earth people. why I hate musicians, too.
People who say they're too invested in videogames and need another hobby are the type who only play AAA trash and then act surprised when they're not having fun anymore.
OP go play some Battle Garegga or something.
Thursday and Sunday night are reserved for /tg/ shit
Unironically taking care of my front and back lawn. Used to look like fricking shit three years ago until I just decided to invest in it.
When I'm not gaming I like to jerk off and browse the internet.
I put together model trains and puzzles.
Have you set up any dioramas where trains can roam free on the tracks?
Like this
Brewing Beer, Watching Baseball, Playing Chess. They all lend themselves well to gaming (and one another). Beer adds to baseball, chess and gaming. Baseball adds to making beer and gaming. I really think I stumbled into the best hobbies, don’t need anything else
Reading and writing.
Going to try and get this book I'm writing published, but I'm a straight white male in Canada so I'm not optimistic.
Just use a pen name.
Buying books and pretending I've read them
None. I used to but covid made all of them punishable by jail to do so I sorta lost contact with everyone I did them with.
What's the point? 3 years where going outside would get me fricking arrested, I just went full bore on vidya. Benefit is, it's significantly cheaper than the shit I did do (hiking/biking/shooting)
>getting arrested for shooting outside
You have to go where no one goes innawoods
I live in the desert so unfortunately the sound dampening here is negative, plus the injuns will claim anyone not inside a town is actually on the rest and that's a fed crime and I'm not looking to go to big boy jail. Or any jail for that matter.
total redman death, I feel for you. Those featherBlack folk do nothing but drink and smoke meth.
I honestly don't mind them, most natives I vibe with pretty well cause I do archery (and teach archery) and it's a very popular thing, I have honorary free access to 3 of the reservations in my area, I get the good frybread.
But any time guns are involved if they're not apprised of every single facet of it, if they can hear it, you're "on their land".
Honestly been considering just moving to colorado.
I started talking up drawing again after not doing it for a couple years. Trying to do digital painting but boy is it a challenge.
Otherwise I read, write, and play tabletop with my friends. Thinking about maybe taking up Yoga for my posture. Anyone have any hobbies they recommend to meet girls?
Cooking is classic for securing. To meet though, anything low impact. Jogging/walking/hiking groups always have women in them. Yoga is a pretty safe bet but be prepared to get iced out of any group you join for at least 3 months because they'll assume you're there just to ogle instead of participate. Or worse yet be segregated into a male only space where you have to watch the teacher on a fricking screen, my local gym started doing that, I immediately charged back my entire membership fee for the last 3 years (Thank god for local CUs kek) and told them to suck an enormous bag of dicks for segregating me. Bonus points for being a shade darker than white so I got to claim rayciss too.
weightlifting, drawing, cooking. all of which i'm pretty good at
>used to read, program, study languages, play Viola, go to the gym, etc.
>now just wagecuck, and waste time online when not wagecucking
drinking, amateur football, and hiking when the weather is decent
Ganker is literally my only hobby anymore. Barely play vidya, when I do its with my kids or wife. Work construction so always beat to shit for doing anything else. Trying to get into table top rpgs but so time consuming I get tired.
I read. I used to write but every time I read back what I wrote I wanted to die from cringe so I stopped. Also wanted to pick up drawing but I have no discipline.
drums, piano, music production, writing, reading, bouldering. i was gonna say listening to music and going to the gym but i dont really count those as hobbies since listening to music is such a basic pleasure that all humans share and then going to the gym i dont find fun but i do it anyway
Pencil puzzles and building furniture.
I got into woodworking and carpentry over the summer. Made a little nightstand, then an ottoman/foot stool for my battlestation that I wrapped in really soft plush and vinyl. I'm trying to stop myself from making my own desk. Think I need more practice before I do that.
post the ottoman, i want to get into woodworking myself
I fish or hang out here. That's it
Based fishing GOD, do you prefer saltwater or freshwater?
Freshwater by default since I've never fished saltwater
Used to fish salt and fresh, treasure coast FL. Got burnt out until I started cane pole fishing for specks, blue gill, mayans, etc with worms. Man that is the chillest laziest fishing. I have a worm farm in my back yard.
I dunno. I'm killing myself after my dad dies though.
I learned my lesson. I have no hobbies, theyre full.
Bowling. I average over 230 and could probably do okay on the pro tour but there is literally no money in professional bowling so I'm stuck wage slaving to buy vidya
Drinking, chasing pussy and playing sloppy guitar
Musical instrument(s).
Once you master one, you can easily learn others because you will have music theory.
It's just a matter of building muscle memory after that.
i used to read a lot of manga but it's hard to find new ones since i've read hundreds
post 5 manga
5 manga
damn it
Skateboarding and guitars. I'd list guns but I haven't taken my iron to the range in over a year or so, it's way too expensive to keep up with.
i shitpost about vidya
I wait for myself to be tired enough to sleep, that's my day.
gutiar
rock climbing
reading
autistic worldbuilding for tabletop rpgs
gunpla
too much vidya will burn you out and you become a bigger, more bitter loser than you already are
