You could mod it but the best you could do was cheat engine to make the game more challenging and replacing models. Bethesda games have a lot of miss because the devs gave out mod tools and the engine itself is very easy to work with
I used to play a game called hellmoo where you could boost your strength by getting horny so that maybe. I once had a spare moment at school playing it and somebody in my class saw me sniffing panties for a strength boost
What pawns should I use if I'm playing a mage? Whenever i rent sword and board pawns they just seem to hang back while blocking so I tried picking up this e-girl with a huge sword i met on the road but she just runs in and gets herself killed really quick. I need someone who runs in then tanks.
Hm, need some advice, as well. Playing an assassin arisen with sorcerer main pawn, what inclinations should she have? Running around and getting those spells interrupted gets a bit annoying. For subpawns, it’d be best to have more warriors or sorcerers, for protection or multicasting, right?
Inclinations largely don't effect them in regards to constantly stopping their casting to avoid a hit. But you'll want either Challenger, or Scather as a main inclination so they'll target heftier enemies rather than a goblin that will die in two hits, since they don't keep casting once their intended 'target' dies. Utilitarian is overall useful as well.
Unfortunately that is a result of having a Sorcerer pawn- Sorc's have long cooldown abilities that need to be used tactically to avoid interruption, it's the big downside of the vocation. Pawn's really just aren't smart enough for timing this.
Inclinations don't improve this. The only thing you can improve on your pawn is literally not take the enhance version of skills that take longer to cast.
In my experience, you need more Fighter pawns to take aggro. Warriors aren't ideal for this, they're more DPS than tank.
Even better, your Arisen needs to stick close to your pawn to defend them. It's a bit dull but it can be worth it when the sorc skills pop off.
Sorc pawns are useful for weapon buffs and voidspell, you can carry healing items instead of using a mage which is much more effective. Sorc pawns are also broken if you're also a sorc.
I hope they do away with moronic mechanics like making your character fat and tall being the only way to upgrade your carry capacity. Also, when you are out of combat, your stamina shouldn't be drained. Some sort of hot key menu so you aren't always opening your inventory for basic shit. Maybe a mount if the game world is going to be as big or bigger. DD1 has so many little bullshit problems that keep it from being an S tier game.
Could you tell me about this? What is it?
Is it like a straightforward action TPS RPG? What is that one thing that makes it so good as they say?
The companions? Abilities? Combat, exploration?
It's like a blend of classic ARPG stuff with novel ideas. All the traditional and familiar things you are used to in a fantasy world are there but with some unique concepts added to the mix.
Just don't go into it if you are looking for a compelling story.
Its an action RPG that leans more into the action than the RPG. Its a one of a kind game due to its systems and mechanics, how you can interact with the world and your pawns too.
Good combat, funny localization, no homosexuals, the only Black person is comic relief, cool looking gear, fun pawn system, cute and funny.
it's what happens when a talented little oriental man decides to make a game based on all the stories and D&D games he enjoyed when he was a young lad.
J-Action RPG in an exquisitely, perfectly generic fantasy setting with all the mythical beasts behaving like their looks would suggest, coupled with a super-interesting AI companion system to simulate playing with foreigners, and a plot twist at the end that will hopefully recontextualise the game for you in an enjoyable and satisfying manner.
Sounds nice. How are the waifus? Is the difficulty normie-tier?
The waifus are as good as you can make them, it's not too difficult if you have a full squad of guys, so play on your own if you wanna challenge yourself, you could dive bomb boss monsters on the wilderness at level one but eventually you will outlevel those too.

>a game that promises deathcore that is actually deathcore
I am watching youtubes and everyone says that combat forgives everything in this game. You don't hear this often at all.
For the love of god please get rid of all the menu shit, having to pause, equip and item, un-pause and then do it again sucks shit, it's why I can't replay totk
Skills that don't involve weapons should be usable from the moment you unlock the skill, regardless of active class/equipped weapon. Having to equip daggers to double jump is stupid.
Not him but damage is calculated basically by attack power minus defense value with a minimum value of like one. This is why if you fight an enemy while under level do you do basically zero damage and then once you reach his level you go from doing normal amounts of damage to insane amount of damage very quickly. Basically, if the enemy has 50 defense going from a weapon that does 1 to 50 damage makes no difference but 50 to 52 is literally doubling your output and so on. Honestly it’s not usually a giant problem in the game just because of how well the game pieces out enemies but it is a sort of pointlessly rudimentary and easy to break system
I dunno I never had an issue with it. You can stress about the formula all you want but in reality it works perfectly fine. I've never been in a situation where I thought "this enemy takes way too many hits".
If they allow camping, more towns, more biomes, more monsters and tied all of that together, then a bigger map won't be so bad. Especially if they add in more shortcuts and port crystals.
Does affinity carry over between new games+? I just started another new game+ and Mercedes and Quina have the pink halo despite not doing any of their quests yet.
I wish there were signposts in this game so I could know where all the roads lead to... that, and some way to figure out if there are items in the ruins along the roads.
Horseback combat and remove the fricking gay stat system so I can switch between vocations and will and not have to worry about doing no damage as a magic vocation after playing physical and vice versa. Hybrid vocations for pawns as well.
Frick you I'm still waiting for a good JRPG. It's been a really long time since I played one.
Trying XC3 now but holy shit I didn't think switch games could get even blurrier than XC2.
multiple save slots or characters
more weapon types and sub categories
special vocation specific, non weapon dependent moves pawn romance and hot steaming sex
You're supposed to change vocations throughout the game, anon. You get access to all kinds of passives plus whatever vocation you are when you level determines what stats increase.
If you want to end up being a more magic Magic Archer, then you should probably max out the Mage and Sorcerer vocations early on. Or if you want a Fighter or Warrior with high stamina, then you should level up a few times as a Strider.
weather effects
seasons
deep-ass snow so that i need to carry my e-girl pawn between towns and dungeons
MOOOODS
Did the first one not have mod support?
You could mod it but the best you could do was cheat engine to make the game more challenging and replacing models. Bethesda games have a lot of miss because the devs gave out mod tools and the engine itself is very easy to work with
of course people are gonna mod it you fricking dingus, apparently RE engine is extremely easy to mod.
How would that even work?
+str when happy
what would even influence moods? seems kind of annoying to micromanage
I used to play a game called hellmoo where you could boost your strength by getting horny so that maybe. I once had a spare moment at school playing it and somebody in my class saw me sniffing panties for a strength boost
yes, the game has a few mods, i hope DD2 does too
Kek, why is Ganker so based and every other board pozzed to hell?
you're kidding, right?
on a normal day Ganker is gayer than /lgtb/
more romance options
more quests that arent just escort missions for rewards
even more customization and gear
>more romance options
the first one already lets you romance every character in the game except like 3, even the kids
Have children then.
'Tis weak to fire.
3 custom pawns.
>already confirmed not happening
An actually fun magic vocation.
>probably not happening
The ability to two-hand a longsword rather than the ultra swords in the first one.
Let me make a e-girl without her looking like a weird midget.
Uncensored sex with pawns
First I need a fricking release date. ANNOUNCE IT ALREADY CRAPCOM!
Spears/polearms
Aerial focused dragoon vocation tho
I want to be able to make my tall girl even taller
Sex with pawns.
Sex and romance with the main pawn (Female e-girl).
More lewd clothing.
Transmogrification post-game I suppose.
hotkeys
i've been playing this game all weekend and i genuinely can't tell if its good or not
If I see one more "dark skinned gorilla faced amazon" girl I'm throwing her to the brine. They all look like men dressed as women.
What pawns should I use if I'm playing a mage? Whenever i rent sword and board pawns they just seem to hang back while blocking so I tried picking up this e-girl with a huge sword i met on the road but she just runs in and gets herself killed really quick. I need someone who runs in then tanks.
you should be checking the inclinations of the pawns you rent
anything with guardian or nexus is going to be completely useless
Hm, need some advice, as well. Playing an assassin arisen with sorcerer main pawn, what inclinations should she have? Running around and getting those spells interrupted gets a bit annoying. For subpawns, it’d be best to have more warriors or sorcerers, for protection or multicasting, right?

The companions? Abilities? Combat, exploration?
imagine Skyrim but made by a Japanese studio who know how to make games fun to play
Sounds nice. How are the waifus? Is the difficulty normie-tier?
Waifus are pretty good and you can make something of your own if you want. Difficulty can vary but is mostly smooth sailing.
I'm trying to remember why this part was so hard
You kept panicking at the boulder or kept fighting the bandits while underleveled
Boulders + enemy scales up like 10 levels to dissuade you from going there pre-gran soren
The waifus are as good as you can make them, it's not too difficult if you have a full squad of guys, so play on your own if you wanna challenge yourself, you could dive bomb boss monsters on the wilderness at level one but eventually you will outlevel those too.

Imagine if Skryrim was made by the guy who made the DMC games.
Sounds fun. I am interested.
>a game that promises deathcore that is actually deathcore
I am watching youtubes and everyone says that combat forgives everything in this game. You don't hear this often at all.
remove all the weeb elements. like the gay ass story.
An alternative to magic spells taking a piss break to be cast, i understand why it's done but it becomes a drag after a while.
I've already gotten exactly what I want.
As long as they fix the damage formula, I’ll be happy
Whats wrong with the damage formula?
>enemy has 500 defense and 50 hp
>takes 50 hits with 500 atk
>5 hits with 510 atk
>1 hit with 550 atk
oversimplification but that's the gist of it.
Not him but damage is calculated basically by attack power minus defense value with a minimum value of like one. This is why if you fight an enemy while under level do you do basically zero damage and then once you reach his level you go from doing normal amounts of damage to insane amount of damage very quickly. Honestly it’s not usually a giant problem in the game just because of how well the game pieces out enemies but it is a sort of pointlessly rudimentary and easy to break system
It also makes cool weapons with split damage like Eden's Warden worse than a generic regular sword, which is fricked.
I dunno I never had an issue with it. You can stress about the formula all you want but in reality it works perfectly fine. I've never been in a situation where I thought "this enemy takes way too many hits".
Tiny flat girls.
Bigger map, better graphics. I got mine.
>Bigger map
isn't this a bad thing though? The first game was quite small but still felt empty and getting around could be a chore
If they allow camping, more towns, more biomes, more monsters and tied all of that together, then a bigger map won't be so bad. Especially if they add in more shortcuts and port crystals.
No more character creator that allows flat little girl characters. More black and female representation in roles of power. Difficult toned down.
more vore hydra animations
Is there a mod to make offline pawns not shit?
Does affinity carry over between new games+? I just started another new game+ and Mercedes and Quina have the pink halo despite not doing any of their quests yet.
yeah affinity carries over, a couple of escort quests are effectively locked behind NG+ because of this.
I wish there were signposts in this game so I could know where all the roads lead to... that, and some way to figure out if there are items in the ruins along the roads.
>some way to figure out if there are items in the ruins along the roads
Would these items be aught of us?
HUMAN BONES THAT MOVE ON THEIR OWN
shit going on in the world. Randomized, procedurally generated shit. Not the same enemy encampments that respawn if you turn your camera in a circle.
Guy I keep dying to wolves, any tips about them, like how they hunt or what they’re weak to?
They're solitary hunters and they're weak to grapples.
ITHATESFITHEIRKINDHATESFIREFIRELENDTHYKISSIGRANTYOUTHEBLESSINGOFFIRESITHATESFIRELENDTHYKTHEIRKINDISWEAKTOFIITHATESFIRLENDTHYKISSITHATESTHEIRKINDISWEAKTOFIRE
normal fast travel
more intuitive quests
actual stat allocation that isn't based off the class you're playing at the time
Horseback combat and remove the fricking gay stat system so I can switch between vocations and will and not have to worry about doing no damage as a magic vocation after playing physical and vice versa. Hybrid vocations for pawns as well.
Gear matter so much more than stats.
refashioning for weapons/armor like in nioh
more shit like this
after all the rpg spam over the last few months i dont think i will be playing anything that has an rpg tag ever again
Frick you I'm still waiting for a good JRPG. It's been a really long time since I played one.
Trying XC3 now but holy shit I didn't think switch games could get even blurrier than XC2.
>Frick you I'm still waiting for a good JRPG
not gunna happen until square and atlus die, good news is square is well on its way to killing itself
Huh, never seen anyone do stop motion with a figma before.
And miss out in starfield?
>fallout 76 in space
no thanks
so you guys are ready for homosexuals to try to usurp DD2 because you can marry anyone in the gme right
Is the music supposed to cut out after a minute or two when you enter a new area?
multiple save slots or characters
more weapon types and sub categories
special vocation specific, non weapon dependent moves
pawn romance and hot steaming sex
With a ferrystone, you can go anywhere you want.
no encumbrance limit, let me carry as much shit as I want
do you guys start a new save when you want to try a different vocation or do you just respec your main character?
>respec
???
You're supposed to change vocations throughout the game, anon. You get access to all kinds of passives plus whatever vocation you are when you level determines what stats increase.
