The OP image doesn’t show what its evolved form looks like, and if your definition of “creative” is “stands on two legs when it normally doesn’t”, then you really are in no position to lecture anyone.
i agree. i love this little guy, he looks straight out of splatoon. i am just bitter about the lack of cool marine animals in fiction since fish & the like are generally seen as less marketable
not a starter but i want a giant gossamer worm as a pokemon, like a deep dwelling water/psychic special wall, maybe ice/psychic to differentiate from slowbro (but would need higher stats to compensate for being a defensive ice type)
I’d like a Raccoon or Possum starter.
Kinda takes me back since we had those in the back yard when I was younger. Like how the first three were supposed to be things you could collect as a kid (Lizard, Turtle, Toad), those two would appeal to me in that regard.
This is gonna sound bizarre, but I would actually like to see an objectmon, or some kind of non-animal as a starter. Every starter so far has clearly been based on animals, but I would like to see one that isn't.
>but I would actually like to see an objectmon, or some kind of non-animal as a starter
Would kind of be cool in a tech-oriented region. Or some sort of dystopian world where Pokemon are actually more scarce or much harder to catch because they all fricking behemoths and little children can't just go to the Pokemart to buy a Pokeball to bean a lil' Pidgey with and auto catch him.
I want to see more reptiles, like dinosaurs or an actually good chameleon.
An invertebrate-based starter would be cool, too, like jellyfishes, cephalopods, echinoderms.
A dragon
>A beaver but blue!
>it's water type as well!
Wow so much creativity
>a turtle but blue
>it’s water type as well
Wow so much creativity
Turtles don’t stand on two legs or have metallic cannons on its back.
squirtle also does not have metallic cannons on its back

Yeah these sucks as well
>a cat but green!
>it’s grass type as well!
Wow so much creativity
>an echidna but blue
>it's a fire type
Wut
>a hedgehog that's kind of green, but mostly brown
>wait, why is it turning white
Maned Wolf
But in all honestly, I just want more cats. There needs to be a cat Pokémon(on 4 legs, fully evolved) for every type.
Delphox is really similar to a maned wolf, so I don’t like your choice.
However I agree completely with your second unrelated statement.
Elemental cats > Elemental monkeys
>Verification not required
an octopus. but they're not cute or marketable or whatever for shitfreak to consider it in a million years
Clobbopus is very cute and marketable. If he was the first form of a starter, it would work.

>No third evolution named Cephalopunch
I’d like a Raccoon or Possum starter.

A Capybara
water/normal or water/ground capybara?
I think water/ground is more interesting but a normal typed starter would be a cool first.
A lion starter
Coconut Crab
Grass/Dark for obvious reasons
>Beaver pokemon
>Beaver pokemon already exists
I don't want a mareep vs wooloo situation all over again
Nobody likes Bibarel anyway. Also Mareep and Wooloo evolve into things that are nothing alike.
I like Bibarel
I like all Normal/X Dual types
They are based
>Grass
Wolf
Beetle
Raptor
Boar
Pterodactyl
>Fire
Snake
Shark
Walrus
Bear
Bat
Lemur
Scorpion
Hedgehog
>Water
Crab
Elephant
Dog
Water Strider
Dolphin
Muskrat
Swan
Heron
A bug
Man that would be sick.
Kangaroo
Grass/rock type
This is gonna sound bizarre, but I would actually like to see an objectmon, or some kind of non-animal as a starter. Every starter so far has clearly been based on animals, but I would like to see one that isn't.
