Nah that's not what I'm talking about. Like for example in Overwatch I have the most fun talking to the enemy team about just saying that X person is trash at the game and that I'm the best. Just something to rile them up. If Bllizshit doesn't want you talking to the enemy team then it shouldn't even be an option in the first place.
Likewise in WoW if I initiate a duel and trash talk someone in the process I'll just end up getting reported in the process regardless if we handle our differences in a fight. Or if I'm ganking someone I'll just get reported fast for "harassment" when a lowbie shouldn't even be in the area I'm ganking in anyway.

Its simple I think. New thing is bad, old thing is actually good and much better. Retail is slowly fizzling out. Retail will literally only exist for whales to spend their money in for cosmetics and expensive mounts and nothing else.
Cata is functionally identical to Retail in a lot of ways so once that comes out there will be even less reason for the average joe to ever buy the new expansions.
Furry erper cash shop whales are the only ones I can imagine sticking around.
