> What is objectively the hardest mainline Pokemon game?
USUM
> And the easiest one?
Any of XY or ORAS or BW2
>BW2
That can be decently hard even without the hard mode enable, it's probably the second hardest nuzlocke you can attempt after USUM
>That can be decently hard
no
Was this battle all the other trainers grind
or battle a frickton of wild pokemon grind
>Dunzun gay again with his shitty bait tier posts that fakes a genuine game experience being easy by grinding way to excessively, using one or two pokemon only, or cheating in rare candies.
Don't think I have forgotten you from the EXP share thread Dunzun gay, you're a common baiting loser that only pretends to play games legitimately.
>challenge mode is harder than normal
Do unovagays play the games?
this was debunked
>my eceleb says otherwise
I don't get why you're defending a mode you've never played.
>>my eceleb says otherwise
yeah he debunked it
>Muh eceleb says otherwise
You're just some rando on a Peruvian berry picking forum saying otherwise so I wouldn't pull that thread if I were you.
>reee don't insult my youtubers
lmao just kys
I don't even know which youtuber you're talking about, I'm not the anon you had responded to, I'm just saying that they're likely a more trustworthy source than your ass.
>more trustworthy
Holy shit just play the games. I'm not trying to convince you. I'm saying facts. It doesn't matter what random ecelebs say.
Also
>I don't even have a youtuber in mind
>but they're way more trustworthy than you
lmao
no game with partywide exp. share, or affection bonuses, or roto-lotto, is difficult
>no game is difficult
ftfy
for someone who supposedly doesn’t care about pokemon’s difficulty, you sure spend a lot of time arguing about it
for someone who supposedly doesn’t care about pokemon’s difficulty, you sure spend a lot of time arguing about it
parroting is an admission of defeat
It's hard when you turn off exp share, since USUM is when you could still toggle it, you have to unlock affection bonuses, and just don't use roto-lotto. All of the things you mentioned are completely optional.
the fact that you need to ignore so many mechanics to make USUM difficult shows that it's not actually the hardest pokemon game
But that's the thing with Pokemon: the games can change in difficulty depending on what you do like team building or item usage, or using other mechanics in the game.
such a statement renders the entire discussion pointless
i dare even say it's a copout from someone who is losing an internet argument
Oh no, how awful.
okay well thanks for conceding i guess
>USUM is hard meme
ORAS is much harder than the other 2 because Stephen is still one of the better champions
your mega starter steamrolls everything, and then there are Primals
This was my experience but I switched my team in BW2 to be more challenging. Making XY and ORAS more challenging is also possible but you really have to bend over backwards. Steven was a good fight however.
>objectively
>moronic thread
Goes together like OP and being a homosexual.
>I don’t know what word means therefore anyone who uses it must be moronic
Nice projection.
>projection
lmao you're really making yourself look like less of a gay now
Hardest is bdsp and xy is easiest by far.
have a nice day.
People tend to focus the most on the bosses, but I think the trainers that are just strewn about are generally why Platinum is considered the hardest game in the series. Random trainers will be making you burn through your revives compared to other games in the series besides maybe RSE. I have not played USUM though, and that's what people often point to as the hardest.
Hardest is either USUM or BW2 challenge mode.
Easiest is either SwSh or RB.
Depends on what you mean by hard. If you mean which game would be the hardest to beat if you handed a newbie the game and told them to just figure shit out, probably Emerald or Platinum, since those games have out-of-battle difficulty and don't baby the player by holding their hand. If you pure mean battles then USUM are definitely the hardest, the Totem mons can be pretty crazily hard since they're 2 on 1 with one having automatic stat boosts.
RBY is the easiest because it’s the only game I can sit all the way through
the whole "challenge mode is broken" shit was started by some random eceleb. you live by the sword, you die by the sword.
>pokemon ecelebs are the trend setters
Go outside.
emerald for it's endgame. easy. now frick off
Easiest is Gen 1 and anyone saying otherwise should just replay it now again.
Probably Platinum. There's a few fights that I've seen filter people like Roark, Maylene, the first Mars battle, the first Jupiter battle, the Barry battle after Victory Road and then the Elite 4 + Champion. Then of course you have BDSP which gives the gyms and E4 competitive teams
The first couple Galactic Commander battles are no fricking Joke, that Skuntank especially is just absurd to deal with.
>What is objectively the hardest mainline Pokemon game?
hgss if you don't count the gamecube titles
>easiest one?
oras, xy, swsh are all valid answers. probably oras because you get so many megas
>Hardest
If you factor in post-battle facilities, then the sheer RNG and time of Emerald's Battle Frontier makes it the hardest game. If not, then probably any of SM/USUM and BDSP since in-game boss characters actually have EV-trained Pokemon. I'd even throw some battles from Yellow and Platinum in there, but they're not even close.
>Easiest
Sword & Shield, without a doubt, though it was remedied by certain dynamax bosses like Mewtwo and Zeraora that required legitimate strategy. XY has some spikes but becomes a steamroll after Korrina. Original DP is trivial if you have a Bronzong on your team.
>hardest
PLA or USUM, maybe Pt
>easiest
probably ORAS
>3 fricking venonants
Can any pokemon loremaster explain the thematic reasons for this?
>team rocket already uses arboks
>giovanni has nidos
>other poison types are dual types with other gym trainers specialties
>beedrill is a shitty bug
I don't have any copes for the pure poisons or golbat.
It's an anime reference, just like how Lt. Surge in Yellow uses a lone Raichu.
>hardest
Probably USUM.
>easiest
Gen 6 games followed by swsh
