I like the combat too, it just depends on your character build. A lot of people don't spend the points on it until it's too late. It is a bit unpolished though
>for me it's binding noclip to a key so i can quickly fly in and out of my apartment
Based, just be careful with where you do it because you can miss conversation triggers. I was doing it to move around the hub last time, and I totally missed the bit where Beckett stops you and tells you not to open it
>visual novel >text novel >text novel >werewolf game >detective game >battle royale >text novel
Just release vampire 2 you fricking cuck. WoD wont be a franchise.
anyone got a link for a direct dl?
im not paying for a game from 2004 and on top have to suffer through the low violence version because my country wont let me see some gore

>this time I'll just play as a based social moron Gangrel >turns out I'm not hot shit in combat yet >low on blood >no cash for hookers or bags >0 charisma to pick up grills at the club >live off stray people in the street just to get a measly 3 blood points
No game has made me feel as desperate
I started it recently I'm liking it. The atmosphere is great. I actually don't mind the combat too much; it's not great but I don't find it to be a slog. The communist chick is rude, but damn, I kind of want to frick her.
Have fun. The last bit of the game's a bit shit sadly cause they ran out of time and money. Just make sure to invest points into combat as you get close to the end.
great writing, fantastic story telling and believable characters.
also absolutely amazing character animations.
you can approach a lot of the quests in more than one or even two ways and its very replayable.
I've been seeing less and less talk of anons praising the music for the game as well, that's also an important part of what makes the game feel so stylish
The best unfinished RPG ever. Great writing, atmosphere, characters, although somewhat limited there's some good Choices and Consequences shit going on, different mechanics for different clans can make replaying it a completely different game and unfortunately it starts to go to shit about halfway through Hollywood because they started to run out of money and time and the last few quests and dungeons are clearly rush jobs, a bit shit and potentially unwinable/way, way harder than they should be because suddenly you really need a combat build and you've been making a smooth-talking stealth build. Still the 70% of the game that's good is so fricking good it makes up for it.
It's a fun, charming game with an interesting story and hot b***hes
Just turn on God mode so you don't have to suffer through the combat
Filtered
It's common knowledge the combat is trash in VTMB. You're not missing anything by being unable to die (god mode doesn't instakill enemies)
I enjoy the combat in VTMB, and your "common knowledge" is basically the equivalent of saying that you let people on an anime forum think for you.
It really is common knowledge. You're just an uncommon fella

>so you don't have to suffer through the combat
Someone should make a mod, that converts the game into a Visual Novel of sorts.
Then I might finally try it out.
Longplays exist on israelitetube for you pissbabies
lol i just reinstalled it this morning
for me it's binding noclip to a key so i can quickly fly in and out of my apartment

Are you going to post a b***hing thread about every cRPG in existance?
the only game where you actually feel as a vampire
>IGN: 7/10 Too much garlic

Gangrel is shit. Warform gets staggered so easily that I just gave up on them
That's what you get for playing as an animal instead of a real vampire like a Toreador.
It's very immersive as cliche as that sounds, the music with the ambience and everything else ties together very well
Big fat breasts
I wanted to enjoy it so much, but never could, don't know why.
What happens when I mention this game?
I started it recently I'm liking it. The atmosphere is great. I actually don't mind the combat too much; it's not great but I don't find it to be a slog. The communist chick is rude, but damn, I kind of want to frick her.
You become THE FRICKING UNIVERSE!
Which clan did you pick?
Gangrel because I thought it would work for an autismo vamp.

this game still has some of the best lip syncing I’ve ever seen
I've been seeing less and less talk of anons praising the music for the game as well, that's also an important part of what makes the game feel so stylish
it perfectly embodies the early 00’s american goth culture aesthetic ideal. edgy without being cringe. weird without being ridiculous
Thanks, reinstalling tight now, OP

It's a well-written irreverent game set in the 90s where for a brief moment everyone felt like we're past the race/gender shit.
You get to have a slave ghoul gf.
Very enjoyable well written RPG that's perfect in length, combined with god tier atmosphere.
