you are looking what infinite patches do to a perfect game, dont worry they will turn D2R into that as well but at least the original one exists, cant say the same for PoE before act 4
You are looking at about as busy as it's possible to make the game look >aurabot gives 50 auras >breach
This is the expanding purple/red circle, it slowly expands from a start point and generates a bunch of mobs inside until it contracts and it all goes away >Blight
that's the timer at the top and the huge UI at the bottom with 'pump durability' and all the little things above it, as well as the hammer icons on the map, it's tower defense against a bunch of spawn points that try to reach the pump and destroy it. You can kill the mobs yourself or most the time spawning the towers right will take care of them >4 player team
3 player characters that are using messy looking skills like stormblast and mines. >Nemesis/Archnemesis
the weird bubbles on the right side are proximity shields, guys with them can't be damaged by sources outside the shields, there's also a ton of on-death effects from killed enemies leaving shit behind
And that's about all I can see. I'd say this is intentionally made messy, but if you party with other people this honestly would happen fairly often.
>I'd say this is intentionally made messy
If you're actually playing the endgame game it always looks like this solo or otherwise. Anybody who doesn't see this chowder mess all the time sucks at the game.
>actual good h&s arpg
Gonna get crapped on for this answer, but Wolcen was mechanically the best hack and slash ARPG I've ever played. Built in combat dodges, responsive and chunky melee, and poe-lite passive tree.
Only downsides was the limited endgame compared to PoE in that you couldn't really grind forever, and the smaller skill selection. Most of the bugs were fixed last time I checked.
If a game had Wolcen combat, d3 smoothness, and PoE building and itemization, it'd be the best arpg bar none.
>Wolcen combat, d3 smoothness, and PoE building and itemization
this. but id prefer bit more active gameplay. yes keep the mouse click moving but it needs to be slower much slower in the beginning at least and there cant be a time in the game where 'you couldve not done anything to avoid that' meaning integrate bit more strategy in it
id love that so much and itd be fun as frick
always when im playing these games im thinking how cool would this and tjis be... literally a missed oportunity whole genre
brainless arcade clicker for the gambling addicts
building your character is cool and the game has many skills, sadly only a few are actually comfortable to use
It's one of few diablo-like games you can play for endgame.
Other one is diablo 3 and even after all fixes it's not really that good.
Well there's also lost ark lol.
Everything else is pretty empty when it comes to endgame though they are overall better.
I dunno but last time I checked it had a gigantic ass skill tree, that must be some autist's wet dream.
what the frick am i looking at

Anon did you read like 95% of my post and then stop? There's a ",but" right after that.
I was just adding that it looks like this solo as well and said "otherwise" to acknowledge your comment about party play.
kill shit
get loot that adds big numbers
kill more shit
get better loot that gives you bigger numbers
kill shit and pick up items
what so hard to understand
low iq?
Why is there a random cute e-girl girl right here?
its an mtx, its a possessed girl pet
>FPS: 9
I enjoy the game at lower levels but once you get to the point in OP's pic, the game is pure aids
why can't anyone make an actual good h&s arpg?
because its a boring genre to begin with.
The only reason why people play it is because of the numbers.
