BladeRunner in a video game
This when it’s raining and you are in japantown you get the 100% blade runner experience
you can't be fricking serious
>It's a degenerate's paradise.
Lol. No. This is nothing like Blade Runner, either aesthetically or thematically. Blade Runner is actual cyberpunk. CP2077 is a pathetic modern imitation made by trannies and eccentric lesbians.
>Blade Runner is actual cyberpunk
No, it's not. Blade Runner is neo-noir sci-fi. It's not and has never been cyberpunk.
Yes it is. Or more accurately, its proto-cyberpunk in that it basically spawned cyberpunk. Film Noir / neo-noir was always a common theme in cyberpunk fiction.
Blade runner/nu deus ex/gits are all cyber noir. Aka the the good cyber genre not the homosexual punk version
GitS is indeed cyberpunk. But told from the state point of view, not the punks.
Cyber-gov, lol
Cyberglow
You morons keep caling Blade Runner is cyber punk. It is not.
No prostetics, no AI, no cyberspace.
Is scify noir with some existwncial stuff, not cyberpunk.
moron
Calling other people moronic doesn't make your post any less moronic.
Blade Runner...a dark dystopian future filled with rain and neon, film noir elements, androids, mega corporations running everything...hmm I wonder what sub genre of science fiction that sounds like...
zoomer-kuns.....
just because something exists anon doesn't mean people don't want that but updated
the BR point and click game is pretty good but the gameplay doesn't hold the same appeal for many is my guess
Kinda, but only on the surface. Something screams Ubisoft rebels every time I interact with the world. I haven't finished the game though yet.
>Bugs are all fixed now, the ones that remain are very mild and not game breaking at all.
I had one in the beginning of Johnny's story, where you had to minigun enemies on the roof from a heli. One of them spawned below and was stuck there, never going up to the roof where I could shoot him. Tried shooting through the wall to get him but no dice. Quickload worked fine but still the definition of gamebreaking.
kill literally all zoomers
That'd what people wanted
Not really they're similar aesthetic but nothing alike lorewise.
No, bladerunner in a videogame is what the very first trailer promised the game would be. What it actually ended up being was Idiocracy in a videogame
As close as we've gotten in a game in quite some time, yes.
Literally, anyone who thinks otherwise has not played it and got their opinions from a YouTuber.
Not only should you disregard such posts, you should call the poster themselves a subhuman mongrel for falling into groupthink so easily.
I have two questions for you OP.
1: Does Cyberpunk look like this now?
2: Can I frick all the hot b***hes now or are sex scenes still really scarce?
>patch the game to fix bugged Yaiba's exhaust fumes
>they do
>but they break Yaiba's glowing neon rims instead
Coded by APES
It's a really good action-adventure RPG. The story is fine, I would even say its good for a video game. Night City itself is the biggest achievement - it's great. Combat is basic but fun. Ironically the main cast (V and Johnny) are the weakest characters but everyone else is great and incredibly well voice acted. The side gigs all have their own memorable flavor. The only grind is the police missions which are a great way to level up quickly and there is just the right amount of them before you get fatigued. Bugs are all fixed now, the ones that remain are very mild and not game breaking at all.
My only criticism is that I actually dislike the changes made in 2.0 - I prefer the old skill tree, the new crafting is a downgrade, and they nerfed my favorite weapon (Satori sword). The new cyberware system is quite good though.
>b-b-but they didn't deliver on promises!
CDPR had to go into so many threads during development and tell people they were getting over excited on rumors and that fans should NOT expect these features but it got out of control and fans literally told devs they didn't know what they were talking about, it was pure insanity.
>rumors
>non-linear story
and
>advanced RPG mechanics
That's it. The rest they delivered on.
Ahahahahhahahahahaha..hahahahaha aaaaaa hehehe .hehe |#__#|
There's an enormous number of weapons and augments.
You stupid fricking idiot lmao choke on sandpaper, all youve done is watch a YouTuber video from your favorite zoomed content creator.
You're less than human
>rumors
They were literally having interviews about the features they later scrapped you Black person
Scrapping features =/= lying about what features are in the game
Every game scraps features you dick butt
>defending a multi-billion dollar company for free
Are you like out of your fricking mind?
Also I'm not giving that (You) for such a pathetic bait
>Night City itself is the biggest achievement - it's great.
Been playing for about 10 hours and the city seems dead to me.
Sure there are a lot of pretty lights and there are npcs all around, but most buildings are closed.
The few shops and bars you can enter feel completely lifeless.
Yeah it's a cardboard city. And there's lots of skywalks and alleys simple unfinished. Contentless desert.
100% valid criticism. I've been ok with just turning on the radio and walking around taking in the sights and sounds. There isn't a lot of interactivity but the city itself is amazingly crafted
if these Polish animals had at least a double digit IQ, they'd just reuse the city for the next game and just add more shit to it.
Absolutely. Night City with actual interiors and verticality, along with the metro they already added would be one of the greatest open worlds ever created for a game from a visual/contruction standpoint.
>they reuse the city
>add a whole lot of more interiors and revamp it so that it feels full and more "vertical"
>single digit IQ gamers call them lazy
>get backlash for making a low effort game reusing assets
>drama begins and game flops
you forgot that gamers including (You) are pretty stupid
also in the end the game sold good and overall was a commercial success so cope and dilate
You're such a moronic Black person. Go clean some toilets.
Unfortunately the big issue is that you would have to functionally do a time skip and extend the city limits with new districts. The average person does not care for a reused map even if it has tons of new interiors to look through. I wish Night City could be reused because it'll probably be about as close as we can get to a really atmospheric city in some ways without it being a plain as frick location in the next game. Night City is an incredible achievement visually on the surface, the gameplay opportunities it provides aren't as vast as it's beauty, but having to abandon it already seems like a huge waste of potential. Had they just stuck to adding more dlc/xpacs to the game they would have had tons of time to deliver on some of the things they're missing like the crowd tech they first advertised.
I've been in these threads way too often to not notice those arguments made. There have been posts on record saying that people only had those issues with the game on launch because of their hardware. (And no not just the old timey console versions)
Once again, the defense force openly fellates this game and pretends it's just all haters. (See what I did there teehee)
>Once again, the defense force openly fellates this game and pretends it's just all haters
The dude is in every thread defending cybepunk and has been for the last 2 years always with the passive aggressive remarks refering to "cyberpunk haters" like he is monologuing as a villain.
>Bugs are all fixed now, the ones that remain are very mild and not game breaking at all
I bought the game a few weeks ago on sale and got hit with two bugs that required a restart before I even met Johnny.
My friends who've played the game say I was unlucky to experience them, and maybe I was, but they aren't completely gone.
I played the game on and off since release and I still get some of the same bugs I got on day 1 despite reinstalling and being on a better pc now.
There are plenty of real promises made in trailers or interviews that were never put in the game. sure maybe you can cope and say it got out of hand but there were fundemental missing features in the game. example: wanted and corrupt police/maxtac, lifepaths having a real impact, Romance being fully finished and the biggest of all "Choices will impact the story" even if the rest was added years later in a dlc nothing can impact the main plot you will die and be happy dying. I am still mad you cant even get good fps on a 4090 with rtx despite it coming out designed for 20 series cards. no wonder DLSS is the future
have a nice day coomer
Punkin' the Cybers 2077 times.
Ignoring the times it crashes and the shitty enemy AI, and unfixed code, it's a pretty cool looking cyber punk game that is awesome to play at night time when it rains in game.
>Ignoring the times it crashes
Huh? I've done two playthroughs of the game and it never crashed a single time.
I played the game 4 months ago, for around 50 hours, it crashed on me over 15 times. It still crashes for people on Ganker and on steam discussion.
There's something wrong with your computer. Or the shitty mods you installed. The game is glitchy as frick but it doesn't crash.
I have never had a single crash
I think you're just a liar
bullshit, that game crashed on me a lot
It's just the usual defense force. It's the "works on my machine" argument that they've been parading around to pretend like the release state of the game (and really any state of the game) was/is perfectly fine for people with cutting edge hardware. The game has an issue with long continuous play sessions which leads me to believe it's either a memory leak on certain configurations or some random magical bullshit hidden underneath. It doesn't happen to everyone and I haven't had any issues except for one crash when I deliberately did some shit with an external program.
>argument that they've been parading around to pretend like the release state of the game (and really any state of the game) was/is perfectly fine
Not a single person has denied that the launch was a catastrophe bug wise.
Once again, Cyberpunk haters have to frame all of their arguments in 2020 or just outright fabricate shit because the game is good now.
I've played it for over 140 hours on PS5; it's only crashed 2 times if that
t. hasn't played it since launch
Photosim for trannies.
>hear cyberpunk is "fixed" now
>think about reinstalling it
>remember being locked in watson
>remember the braindance sequences
>remember the heist
frick that. Maybe I'll play it in a decade when I've completely forgotten everything about it
Can't you skip all that now? I thought they added the option to skip everything up to the point of approaching the Voodoo Boys in the latest patch?
They did, but Cyberpunk haters have to frame all their bullshit like its still 2020 to make their arguments work
You're either a liar, playing on a potato, or installed game breaking mods. I've played 300+ hours and only ever encountered very minor bugs like cars and NPCs doing weird shit but nothing that changes the gameplay.
>remember being locked in watson4
A game locking you into a tutorial zone until you complete the first act? OMG I'M GOING INSAAAAANE
>remember the braindance sequences
About 10-15 minutes in an 80 hour game. Tiktok has fried you attention span.
>remember the heist
One of the coolest missions in the game. It's just not for you, and that's fine. Doesn't make it a bad game.
>One of the coolest missions in the game
It's like 90% glorified cutscenes. It sucks.
>story heavy RPG has glorified cutscenes for its most iconic mission
Oh, my word. Simply unacceptable.
heavy RPG
>RPG
>play the role of V
>stats that drastically change gameplay and can change dialogue choices
>dialogue trees
>skill trees with a diverse range of combat approaches
>missions have multiple ways of resolving
>multiple and very different endings to main story
>romance/relationship options
Claiming it isn't an RPG is one of the most moronic things Cyberpunk haters do
Eat shit homosexual.
I accept your concession.
Get cancer homosexual animal.
Leviticus 20 13
Lol way to just utterly collapse, anon.
Well done in revealing you're a fricking idiot and have been this entire time.
What can I say? I like to actually play games. I'm not ashamed of that. You don't really do anything in that mission until the second half of the escape sequence. If I wanted to watch a film I'd watch a film. I don't mind watching a cutscene for a few minutes but I do mind when I've done nothing but watch scripted sequences play out for an hour.
If it's not for you, that's fine, but saying an RPG is a bad game because it has a mission like that is just plain moronic. It comes with the territory.
I don't like sports games but I don't say Fifa is a bad game because because it has soccer players in it.
>If it's not for you
But it is. Most of the game's content is just gameplay. Ganker b***hes and moans about most of the side content of the game not having extended cutscenes and dialogue sequences for all of it but I actually like that. The most fun I had with the game was the gigs and NCPD shit and that's the majority of the game's content. There's not a lot of actual story driven content but what there is often involves a lot of heavily scripted glorified cutscenes that aren't particularly interesting the first time round and are boring as shit the second time.
>A game locking you into a tutorial zone until you complete the first act? OMG I'M GOING INSAAAAANE
yes an open world rpg locking you into a specific region of the map is fricking stupid. Let me go where I want, if I get fricked up by higher level mobs it's on me but the choice is what matters.
>About 10-15 minutes in an 80 hour game. Tiktok has fried you attention span.
Don't use tiktok but nice attempt to fit in. BDs are a completely waste of time during replays. Next time you launch a game sit in the menu for 10 minutes and do nothing. I mean it's only 10 minutes right?
>One of the coolest missions in the game. It's just not for you, and that's fine. Doesn't make it a bad game.
That plays the exact same until the very end where you finally get to shoot shit.
>yes an open world rpg locking you into a specific region of the map is fricking stupid. Let me go where I want, if I get fricked up by higher level mobs it's on me but the choice is what matters.
It's incredibly common and accepted in the genre. Hating on it is just a you problem.
>BDs are a completely waste of time during replays.
Gee, that must be why they added in a "skip" option pretty fast after release.
>That plays the exact same until the very end where you finally get to shoot shit.
Amazing how you have Tiktok brain without even having used it.
the aesthetics, the story. The gameplay is mediocre at best, also I don't believe FP is a good perspective for an RPG, which also isn't because most choices you make are completely irrelevant to the final result except a few exceptions. As a shooter it's very, very bad.
I still enjoyed it tho, the general atmosphere and story more than make up for the shitty game development. and I even played in on a ps4 pro and it was like one frame every other second.
I tried it on both PC and PS5 afterwards, probably would have enjoyed it more.
So ITT we got:
>4 /misc/ morons
>2 underaged
>Several phone shitposters not worth anything
>Only a few people that actually played the game
Are those mods, or baseline?
Wondering how to get the navel piercing tbh
Obviously modded. You can't get robot hands.
Pretty sure there's literally nothing vanilla in that picture.
Damn I don't know if I want to grab a dozen mods off nexus then. I'm lazy as frick.
i dont think all of them are fully updated for 2.1 yet anyways.
Most of them still work for 2.1, the major scripted mods were the ones that needed updating and they got updated already
Is it bad i found this is peak female hair?, i wish they're existed without riddled with SJW propaganda
dunno, you tell me anon
>womb barcode
Kino fetish.
When it was first advertised it looked really cool. The story seemed like it was going to focus more on robotic people going crazy. I should have known it was going to be shit when they changed everything and threw Keanu reeves in it
That hot French prostitute from the new expansion. Still not enough to get me to actually buy this trash though.
I really wish they added more depth to the systems, though. Add more modifications to the guns, make it so you can only upgrade them at vendors or if your tech skill is high enough. Let me at least make a drone that shoots at enemies if I'm a techie. Add actual car customization. Make an unarmed/gorilla arm skill tree or merge it with Body's blunt weapons tree.
I think the game is great as-is but mods can only do so much to patch up the shallow systems this game has.
>or merge it with Body's blunt weapons tree
isn't this already the case
theres a hidden flag in the graphics settings to have "psycho" quality crowds. it makes the game feel actually next gen and it doesnt rape performance that much on pc. dont know why they dont just enable it without mods.
They lost so much money that they had to immediately bend the knee to ESG banks.
Post 2.0 patch and Phantom Libery the game has been selling extremely well
Ganker will hate to admit it, but its the truth
It makes sense, the expac was sold as a fix for the game with a bunch of new systems and the 2.0 update that most people thought was coming with the DLC and needed to buy it. you make it sound like many people actually look into things before they buy them.
Actually not true, Cyberpunk 2077 pulled in a ridiculous amount of money but anyway
excellent visuals
interesting stories
fun gameplay
Panam
There is this quest you are forced to pretend a tron is a woman and the devs make you side with him.
Seems like a woke mongoloids dream.
Its still so dumb to me that trans people exist in the cyberpunk world. You can change and be whatever you want whenever you want it baffled me
It's actually pretty funny because it unintentionally outlines that some of those people entirely just want to identify as trans for the sake of being different. It's probably the same concept here. Like the concept of traps that passively pass vs people that want their entire goal/identity to be about being a trap for teh lulz or whatever. Mentally if you want to play for a different team in this universe, the reward would naturally just be being able to change yourself and look and physically feel undeniably like the thing you wanted to be so you no longer have to wear your attempts at changing like a badge of honor.
Yea I've seen his signature posts before. unfortunate levels of autism. It would be easier to just write him off as a bot.
It's just fun dood.
It's a game where you're supposed to shoot everyone you see
the women, because posts like this made me download the game, play it for 3 hours and uninstall it
why aren't there flying cars?
Because imagining how the future will be like can be difficult, neither will someone's vision of it be accepted by everyone. On top of that nowadays the focus lies on realism and there's a deficit of good writers with experience in world building.
I mean, we kind of have pic related, you just order online, and most people get it delivered instead of picking it up.
Reminds me of that dahir insaat drive-in supermarket
Because they're incompetent and they couldn't even make normal driving cars properly.
mike pondscum told them not to do it
Just looked who ever that guy is
What the frick does that Black person know about Cyberpunk??
>what the frick does the author of Cyberpunk know about Cyberpunk
???
I don't see his name here
>reddit spacing
you need to go back
>the return key is LE REDDIT
have a nice day, tourist.
He knew these polish monkeys couldn't even make bikes to lean (he was right)
hes a fricking hack and a moron
the game is better off having the least to do with him as possible
but you're a redditor, so you obviously dont know better
I'm waiting for the Katana combat to be cool. I also like shooting and looting. Story is alright, the cast is cool my only issues with the dialogue is V's word choice and delivery. sometimes it sounds like something i'd say and then it gets reworded and he says it in the most "hey im so hip with the kids" kind of way. I'm enjoying it so far it's an above mediocre experience so far.
sucks that every dialogue prompt either expands on details and dont progress the conversations or are like 2 yellow choices that end with the same result.
Panam, mostly.
The gameplay is pretty barebones even after all the adjustments/patches.
I've tried almost every build but I always return to using guns because melee in this game is so fricking weird/broken.
Also the visuals. If you can do path tracing the game looks stupidly good.
Rtx
