What is the best Gamecube controller for playing games on Dolphin?

What is the best Gamecube controller for playing games on Dolphin? I wanted to go for the wireless PowerA controller, but that's bluetooth only, and I have never had good experience with bluetooth. It always has issues with dropping/spotty connections, input lag, or random button presses.

Other options include any of the dime-a-dozen Amazon controllers like the FIOTOK Gamecube Controller. That one's less than 20 bucks, but it requires the Gamecube adapter and it only has a 4 ft cable; I need at least a 10 ft cord if I'm going wired due to my setup.

Any suggestions? If you do recommend a bluetooth controller, please also suggest a fantastic bluetooth adapter/dongle. I am willing to pay a decent amount of money to make bluetooth not suck. I also have basically zero faith in bluetooth at this point -- I normally play with a wired Dualsense so I'm probably spoiled -- so it'll take some convincing to get me to go Bluetooth.

But they don't manufacture them anymore, and I don't want to be playing on a controller that was potentially used as someone's anal toy or makeshift tissue.

Just take it apart and scrub every square millimeter of every single part with PSA and peroxide like a normalgay.

Gamecube controllers work pretty well for playing Gamecube games. I'd pick up a Gamecube controller. It will give you a good experience as far as types of Gamecube controllers go. Probably the best option in fact for choosing a Gamecube controller.

like what in the FRICK were they thinking about with this controller? was someone in nintendo just not able to give up the C and Z buttons and autistically demanded they be on the controller in some fashion?

buy the official Smash controller re-release then use an adapter to connect to pc.
8bitdo's GBros bluetoooth adapter is pretty high quality and cheap, it also supports wii-compatible controllers so if you are based you can use the Nes/Snes mini controllers on your pc with it.

It looks like the re-release has a 12ft(!) cable, so this is a good option too. Thanks.

I might get a Wavebird off ebay and use that. The OEM GC controller's cord is not long enough, but the wavebird uses 2.4GHz which is better than Bluetooth. Also, it's what I had as a kid anyway.

    >What is the best Gamecube controller for playing games on Dolphin?
As always, the one that works best for the game you're playing.
    >Any suggestions?
Yes. But they are require a very long strong cable, and a study place on the ceiling to attach one end to.

There's a thing on Amazon that you plug a GameCube controller into that makes it bluetooth. Honestly though any Xbox controller is going to be pretty fricking great for dolphin. Especially if wired so you never run out of battery and get a strong rumble

Just use a DS4/DualSense. There is nothing special about a GCN controller.

This is the best setup for what you're asking for.
    >Original GC controller
    >USB adapter
    >GC controller extension cable
If you have no money just use a PS or Xbox controller via bluetooth. Input lag isn't that big a deal on 6th gen systems or later.

    >not owning a real gc controller already.
    >refuses to buy one because it might be used
Look, kid, you're too young to appreciate these games. The graphics aren't great. It's not HD, and you can't play online with all your friends and buy skins.
Go back to playing on your PS5.
