You can’t just post a screenshot this kino and not give a source.
As for your question, world in conflict is great for comp stomping.

Regiments. An indie RTS on steam. Microprose helped too but it was mostly one guy.

broodwar is comfy 3v5 or 2v6, dawn of war: dark crusade but its a bit harder than just turtling until the enemy runs out of mins like in bw, company of heroes (i like 2 but others like 1), age of empires 2: definitive edition.

It's real time Civ, more than a city builder

      >Rise of Nations
Prolonged sloth WW1 simulator which feels like a chore. You shit out a frickton of units and it still doesn't feel like it's enough.
And I'm saying this as a major RoN fan.

The best used to be Company of Heroes Blitzkrieg Mod.
Rhine map vs 4 max difficulty AI. Would lead to 2-4 hour matches of holding on for dear life a the bridge heads and the trying what ever crazy tactics like air bridgeheads, tank rushes or just slamming enough artillery to suppress the enemy HQ. It made you really manage your resources and get the most of of your units.
But that got ruined in two stages.
Sega bought Relic and eventually downgraded the servers to the point it couldn't handle multiple max difficulty AI. You would get desyncs. And not just a little desync and someone gets kicked. But desyncs so bad you would be playing one game and your friend another. I had a match where I was fighting multiple Jacksons while my friend was fighting multiple Pershings and once we realize that the game would inevitably crash for both of us. And the desync is just the peak problem. You would get things like 2-3 minute input delays.
Then Blitzkrieg got ruined by homosexuals. They changed units for shitter version of those units, removed ability to change out units and made the germans both more op and also less fun to play as. Blitzkreig mod is so shit that we now refuse to play it and if we ever do CoH we use either the Far East mod, Battle of the Bulge or Europe at War.

Supcom, if you play with a bunch of rush AI's - play it like a tower defence until you eco and tech enough to blot out the skies with strat bombers

modded stellaris but you need to play with like 2-3 people who commit to whatever their species is. My friends and I will do a separated empire kind of deal where we all play as forgotten colonies of a vast human empire and slowly reconnect and conquer the galaxy.
