      Oh yeah, that too.

Hard to believe Ganker acted like this game was good. Ganker shilled this as an Elden Ring competitor lmao. I had homosexual friends buy it and pretend it's good. Yet none of them replay it. I see Elden Ring still on the steam charts. Hogwarts legacy doesn't get even a few thousand players to replay the damn thing. Sad

I never finished the game and probably never will launch it again.
Replayed The Witcher 3 in full in the meantime, I probably spent 4x more time in it in a single playthrough lmao.

nowhere near as "magical" or "hogwarts" focused as it should have been. whoever decided the Harry Potter open world game should explore areas outside the castle grounds was an idiot. every quest was a snoozefest. broom flying was fun

Exploring a faithful rendition of Hogwarts itself was nice, but it becomes an open world busy work simulator as soon as you go outside.

KCD is pretty boring for like the first few hours, but once you learn sword fighting, its like a whole other game.

but to answer your question, recently, Remnant from the Ashes.

      You don't find this exciting?

FFXVI, first few hours were fun, but my god was it a slog.

The pacing of sidequests is pretty awful, as well as a handful of Main quests basically being sidequests. There should have been more focus on the action missions with a playable Cid/Jill.

Played about 20 hours of this and quit because combat became way too infrequent, and waltzing around the world aimlessly was super boring after the initial wonder wore off. Hunger and sleep meters plus slowly-refilling health also completely ruin games like this.

Divinity Original Sin, the first one. My god was it dull. I picked it up and ditched it six times over a couple of years before I, in lieu of anything better to do, forced myself to play through it. If it weren't for the combat being quite fun I would've just buried it eternally in the deepest parts of my backlog.

    Horrible, awful, overrated game.

The main campaign getting all fetch questy after every major event in the story was exhausting. Theres so much unnecessary dialogue in that game.

It's super obvious it's made by an mmo team. All the high points are incredibly high but my god the pacing was fricked when after each high point there was like 3 to 6 hours of fetch quests activites to do.

Life.OMG, I hate that game so much. Must have been designed by israelites and women.

Beginning is fine. You have like npcs giving you a lot of pointers. But after that difficulty goes through the roof. No quests. Just grinding. Shitty game design. You get a million pointers to fetch tasks that seem doable. Once you try them, they quickly become impossible. All you're left to do is look at NPCs which seem to get quests and rewards.

So, you think, "OK, let me just play the game like I want to, like it's fun for me." Wrong. With having that thought, wanted level immediately goes to 4. Never goes down.

Then, problems with your character. Health decreases over time for no fricking reason. Sometimes, character doesn't move. Again, no reason.

    I want my $70 back.

Halo blew up because the Dreamcast bombed and the only video game console that allowed online play was the Xbox.

Halo's multiplayer is what kept it popular, I believe.
Not many games have felt as fun & arcadey in their multiplayer like Halo has, but if I had to name a few, I'd say team fortress classic/2 and Tribes: ascend

games like Planetside 2, CoD, BF and the rest WISH to be what old Halo multiplayer with vehicles was, but they're all either over complicated, trying too hard or not trying at all

I don't get how you are supposed to enjoy Baldurs Gate 1. The combat sucks, every side quest in the beginning is just a "go here and talk to the most uninteresting character ever" or "go here and get this". Maybe it gets better towards the middle but frick if I have the patience to get there.

Probably not the most boring, but I remember beating this PS4 God of War that kickstarted dad theme era, and being surprised how meh it is. Sure, there was tons of pretty action in there, there was some stuff to follow, but in the end, it just felt so uneventful through entire length of the game. It felt empty and pointless.

Loved KCD though, it grabbed my heart right after tutorial tutorial episode was trash though and kept me into it until the very end. I love eurojank, some degree of gameplay freedom, and I'm definitely fond of good dev's autism, so it just ticked all the boxes for me.

I loved KCD, but I couldn't bring myself to finish it when half the world hated my character due to me accidentally tickling people with my horse, causing them to scream in pain as if I had shot them with an arrow.

I think I stopped soon after the bandit base & boss.
That game is still my favorite of the year I played it, I think.
The only truly boring part about it for me was of my own design for being stupidly greedy and carrying a small batallion worth of armor/weapons while overencumbered, just so I could make a bit more coin.. to do what? gamble and become so invincible that the combat didn't feel challenging anymore.

That game was one of the rare decent crowdfunded games, I respect their hustle and medieval nerdiness, even if they couldn't bring us some of the features they originally wanted.
For an indie game and for it's uniqueness, it deserves praise. It made me have faith in crowdfunding and RPG games.
I have not enjoyed many other games since then, but if I had to name a few, I'd say Sekiro, Divinity OS2 and Remnant with a group of friends (but my experience with the latter two was incredibly neutered for using wiki to find out all the best gear on first playthrough)

RDR2, boring fest+ movie the game, the only good thing about it were the animations and the graphic, everything else sucked
    >look at this cool animation when you loot a corpse, now that's going to happen 150 times
    per day, have fun
the story was all over the place, moron writing, same with the characters, dumb wanted system(killed someone in the middle of the woods, wanted) but there's a cope when you say this
    >but someone saw you from 5 miles away, so that count
    stfu
Shooting was kinda bad on PS4, i don't know how it is on PC
This happen when you listen to /v tards and "Hype" train, i paid 60$ on PS4 for RDR2 and i dropped the game after 25 hours
That's why i am not buying games anymore who are hyped up to the Moon and back
