LEGO City Undercover was pretty fun.
FPBP
Insanely good open world
>kid friendly GTA where you're a good cop who does bad things in pursuit of the greater good
>consistently funny without resorting to potty humor and doesn't rely on nudging the adult audience all the time
Undercover is a treasure.
First post based post. I have no idea why this thread is still alive after it.
prob the newest star wars one
gay gay gay
that game was terrible
I don't hate Skywalker Saga but I don't think it compares to Complete Saga.
The complete saga
anything voiced is pure anti-soul
I have no clue why the frick they started putting voices in these games. Ruins the charm.
Voices are great. We got Harrison Ford to record a line about wookie cookies.
>Harrison Ford to record a line about wookie cookies.
Does that homosexual have no shame at all? I guess he'll do anything for money
Damn, could you be any more negative? Having the real actors doing their characters were great. We will never have that again.
>We will never have that again.
Thank goodness
Yeah, now we have impersonators.
A.I.*
>We got Harrison Ford to record a line about wookie cookies.
because that's what star wars is all about, right?
>Poe teases Finn on unskippable loading welcome screen in your path
>anything voiced is pure anti-soul
gay
Racers
Can't wait to try this for myself to see if it sucks
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1451810/LEGO_2K_Drive/
Only one answer.
>90% of the game you're invincible
nah
Seeing how their games cover multiple genres, it's hard to compare them directly. I would argue that mata nui online game made the most impact.
based. thank you for reminding me about it, you just made my day
Always has been the best.
I found it boys it still works
https://crystalien-redux.com/?v=6_4
Shame its unifished
We only got a test level for alien special ops
>Shame its unifished
>We only got a test level for alien special ops
What the hell, I guess that explains why their spec ops seemed so barren in comparison to the astronauts side. Was there ever any reason why they never finished the game?
Bionicle games
Complete Saga
Lego Harry Potter
I thought we were talking about the officially retail released ones, but this was amazing too. So were all the Bionicle flash games, and don't forget the Exo-Force mech shooter game
Kino's back on the menu
forgot to add Drome Racers
Also Junkbot 1 and 2, some technic flash game where you were in a LEGO store and some NXT flash game about hacking
I dont think I ever finished this one, regrets mounting
the composer has uploaded all his works including a remaster/uncompressed version of the DS soundtrack including a fair bit of unused songs
Hey guys does anyone have the PC version of lego racers 2? I cant for the life of me find it and i know i held it on my hands as a kid
Yes
Rock raiders
based, did you know a very competent fan remake was released recently? Look up Manic Miners
Amazing, downloading today. Thanks for the rec, anons.
My god, I had no idea. Anon delivers. Thank you.
godamn what a nostalgia trip. the thing I remember the most were the soundtrack and the sound effects
>A landslide has occurred!
kino
I want to endorse this remake for anybody mildly interested. It runs great, really improves the original game's shitty AI, and comes with two bonus campaigns. Plus it lets you use the Playstation version's soundtrack which is the only reason to play that game.
Bless you anon for informing me that this exists.
I'm well acquainted and modern game devs should be ashamed they get so brutally mogged by a passion project
Most of the flavor text callouts are burned into my memory
>Rubble
>A Monster has appeared
Consider ending your life
frick yeah
Oh snap was that the Brickster for a brief moment
Now we just need an Alpha Team remake.
That's another one I forgot
I know the theme off by heart
Oh frick it's out?
Best answer itt
never even heard of it
It was only for PC and a bastardized version for Playstation.
PC version was a real time strategy, Playstation was a weird puzzle platformer.
The only real answer.
Vgh thv sovl...
i really enjoyed swapping through the villain gallery in this one
>Verification not required.
these two were the shit back in the day, I don't think I ever managed to finish either one, because I barely knew a word of english
Did anyone ever finish this game? It always made my grandma's computer crash so I never got very far in it
Only many years later. Incidentally, don't play this at 60FPS, it gets way too fast.
I loved their Metroid Prime ripoff as a kid. This game was really fun for a DS game. And the soundtrack was kino.
Holy shit I'm ATMOSPHOOMING
Several times, MNOG II was actually the unplayable one because it was rushed and full of game breaking bugs. Shame because it could've been really good.
lego racers, because i grew up with it, and it had most of the best themes in it (only missing bionicle and forestmen)
Pic rel looks to be fun but given that it's a 2K game I'm wary. Can anyone verify?
Also, does anyone know if the Amazon "Physical Cart" thing is legit? I tried buying the game from GameStop and I got a "physical" which was a case of Fallout 76's "we gave you a physical box with a download voucher inside ;)" so I'm wary of touching another "physical" copy for this game.
Was that F76 a PC game? Did you timetravel from 2008?
it's shit, i pirated it but i was still disappointed. i wanted lego racers 3 but this was not it
a physical version with cartridge was never released, because 2K is a bunch of israelites, nearly every single one of their Switch releases is cucked in one way or another
>have the greatest possible concept for a video game, which is Forza Horizon with legos
>it's lego, so customization is expected
>have to grind just to be able to customize shit
>or pay up and fall for the MTX garbage/season pass shit
I fricking hate it. Kids these days could be getting the Lego Island we millennial/boomers would have killed for, and instead they get predatory trash designed to have them yanking on their parents' sleeves begging to buy microtransactions.
This
And this
City Undercover
Only played Lego Island 2 on GBC and Racers on PC so it's the latter for me.
legoland was soulful
rock raiders was kino (HAAAHRD ROCK)
I was too young to understand Lego loco
island Xtreme stunts had its moments
Football Mania was a good bit of fun
Racers 2 was fun
Lego Batman was the first game I got for my PS2
it's all just a little bit kino
Batman 2. Although a lot of it is nostalgia from when I was younger and only had a 360 to play on, I replayed the game about a year ago and sometimes just to find some random gold bricks.
It’s really fun, and all the different costume abilities was something I liked a lot, but thought was overdone on Lego Batman 3.
Rock Raiders, obviously
PC or PS1? I only had it on PlayStation but I hear it was more of an RTS on PC
It got a fan remaster. Need to download and check it out.
Step aside millennials, zoomerLUDO coming through.
LEGO Stars Wars 2 and the first LEGO Batman were the greatest franchised LEGO games because they had fun LEGO-based gags, captured the franchise perfectly, and generally had a lot of stuff to explore. Beginning with LEGO Batman 2, the games became focused on railroading you into 2serious4u stories. If you go further back to the older LEGO games, or even the online website games like Mars Mission and Bionicle Gladiator Arena, you'll find pure SOVL.
For whatever reason, LEGO video games were better when the development team had less to work with. Either that, or the staff were simply allowed to care about their products back then.
>t. assblasted that LEGO Dimensions was just overpriced and underwhelming 3-in-1 sets
agreed, and just wanna add that the first Harry Potter was really up there for the humour and style also
Star Wars the Complete Saga. I also have very fond memories of Stunt Rally, but it's probably my rose tinted glasses
Based
I 100% completed TCS last year and it was pure kino
TSS was an undercooked mess and a huge disappointment
>Lego boobas on the cover
we _need_ to go back
If I don't really care about Star Wars, would the last game be fun? I like Episode 4 and know somethings about the movies by osmosis.
TT's LEGO games are fun BECAUSE they immerse you in your favorite movies. If you haven't seen them, there's no point imo.
This one. It's fricking disgusting how the dev team wanted to make sequels but the company fired them all to avoid paying release bonuses, despite the game then going on to be a success. So we got Lego Island 2 by a different team and it was mediocre and licensed-game-tier by comparison.
I miss Lego Island so much
Rockband
anyone remember playing this on the lego website
Yeah. I remember being amazed that it was a full 3d free roam game in flash.
director*
any way to play this in current year without flashpoint because I can't get it to work
I have it on my pc, I just googled it and was able to download and play it. Its called lego backlot
>if i complete this mission I'm sure i can go to island with dinosaurs
Man, I don't know why i thought there's going to be dinosaurs island during the game.
I vividly remember getting stuck at one point because I was moronic and couldn't figure out a puzzle.
Rock Raiders
speaking of lego, I've played the demo for this and it's a pretty good NBA jam clone. Anyone else play it?
They're all shit. People will play any slop with "LEGO MOVIE GAME" written on it. Even the OG Lego Racers wasn't that good really.
>>t. friendless loser with a shitty childhood
Remember when LEGO made that MMORPG sandbox and it fell apart because all the manpower spent on censoring LEGO dicks?
Lego Island
I don't know why I enjoyed this so much, more than I should.
Came here to post this, got me interested in RTS games from a young age.
Original SW trilogy.
Lego Rock Band
>no one has posted one of the best RTS games of all time
This was probably my first strategy game, reeled my autism in hook line and sinker.
moron
Trolled you epic style
Frick me I remember playing this I had lot of fun playing a flash game in this day and age they'd charge $15 for this
As a kid I would logon to the LEGO website just to play their flash games.
I still have that massive plane thing sitting on a shelf in my room. A couple pieces have been replaced over the years as bits have gone missing but for a 10(?) year old set it's still in pretty good condition.
dude over the years of begging my parents I ended up with every underwater-themed lego set (forget the specific theme, think it was a city one) all because of a game on their website which made me obsessed
holy shit I still have this in my house somewhere
>It's Christmas 2005
>this is playing
>you are in a state of childhood bliss
>my dad will never come back
This game brings back so many feels. Good post anon.
>geonosis collosseum
>invincibility: on
>free play
never had this one but would borrow it from my friend. that one level when you try to escape the capital ship with palpatine was so irritating
THAT'S THE ONE thank you anons I had completely forgotten a major part of my childhood
Lego racer 2 was good
No
Always thought that squid looked extremely cool as a kid.
Destroying threads to keep the quota for 30 baldurs gate threads on the catalog
Bionicle Heroes for the DS. As far as I know, it's the only first-person shooter that Lego have ever made or endorsed, and it fricking rules. It has more types of enemies than the console versions for some reason - even the Frost Beetle from the Rahi contest appears as an occasional enemy.
Personally thought this eras toa looked like shit but the piraka and ball launchers were badass
>Bionicle Heroes
the gba version was a decently fun top down shooter. cool to see the ds version isn't just the same thing
Visually, they peaked with Lord of the Rings and seemed to stop caring after that.
>CTRL F
>Lego Universe
>0 results
The game god wanted me to play but not the one the world deserved
It's not our fault LEGO gave them like nothing to work with for a hyper-ambitious project
i tried to pirate this
god i was so moronic back then
Is Skywalker Saga any good or should I wait for Complete Saga to get cracked?
Lego Island 2 but 1 had such a fricking good soundtrack they didn't replicate in 2.
Fun fact: the original Lego Island 1 OST master tapes were lost at sea. They were stored on a boathouse and it got swept out and sunk. That feels like a plot point you'd have seen in an actual Lego game.
No game has every top this masterpiece before
I remember this game too. The combat sounded like it was saying OSWALD
>Nuking an actual video game thread
Janny needs to hang himself
rock raiders
bionicle web game
island
loco
has their dev team been the same this entire time?
I'm only just realizing how competent they actually are
Lego Star Wars saga is by far their best game
Lego Worlds is nightmare
>premised to be the ultimate Lego and Minecraft game
>bad UI and UX
>fixed awful controls
>worlds cant be "infinite" like Minecraft ones
>moronic FOV and camera settings end up causing motion sickness on children
>online multiplayer limited to 2 players
>mods are banned and C&D
>building mode was a nightmare
>LDD imports have limited pieces
>cant LDD import or ingame create any kind of vehicle or functional thing
>cant recruit NPC aside few animals
>fricking lions
>grindy
>No mods
how can they be so moronic? Minecraft would be dead without those
also
>no promised survivor mode
TT games has been developing the same game for two decades at this point, of course they can't succeed at something different
Honestly, I applaud it for trying. They took a huge swing with this one, and while they stumbled over their feet what they made is still an enjoyable curiosity.
I wish I knew a way to play this on modern computers. I can get lego island running, but not lego racers 1 or 2.
Semi-recently picked up the last few life on mars mechs, fricking love that theme to this day. The modular feature of them all is so cool
Try an emulator, logo racers was on multiple consoles
lego batman for the ps2
Probably Lego Penis Peanuts Arachnid Circus or Disney Presents Lego Stalin
was it the original Lego star wars that had you hanging out in the cantina hub world? that one was frickin great and i feel like they never recaptured that same magic feel. for recent games, i liked LotR, marvel super heroes and Skywalker saga
Are you talking about Dexter's cantin?
Only from 2 onward.
Did any legochads play this? I remember spending hours making cities then blowing them up with the dynamite bricks
I used to make American Civil War battle scenes, with lines of custom designed blue and gray soldiers and made them march towards each other with dynamite planted across the middle of the field.
i used to play the knights kingdom one
I had this but I could never figure out how to play it. I spent hours on the tutorials but I must have been missing something because I never got past it. I was so bummed.
I'm pretty sure this game was bugged to frick but I also had fond memory of grinding the family dell dimension to a halt with tnt bricks
God those were the good old days
>this is the only lego game in existence where you can turn any creation into a vehicle or plane, even if you literally just put a minifig standing on a fricking brick
worst timeline
I played a ton. Rock Raiders, Lego Island, Lego Chess, but the one I played the most was Lago Stunt Rally.
>This entire thread just reminded me that I gave my considerable lego collection to a younger cousin right as the iPad became popular
>He hasn't touched it since getting his tablet years back because kids don't like toys anymore.
>One day I visited my aunt and found a faded stormtrooper helmet half-buried, such was the lack of care shown.
Frick it, I'm asking for it all back. I don't care how much of a manchild it makes me, these little plastic blocks were my childhood and it really upsets me that they aren't being used for their purpose. Frick tablets and the modern internet for what they've did to children the world over. Kids should be playing with toys.
Lego Batman 2 with open world Gotham was tight.
Is Lego Batman 3 any good? I bought all 3 on sale and haven't gotten through the first yet because 100%ing TT Lego games is a chore I don't feel like doing right now
wish they had made full on games for their more stranger sets
>America got sets coated in guns with launchers and missiles for blowing the shit out of mutant dino scum
>Europe got sets with nets and ropes and cages but the mutant dinosaurs were just as menacing
It's still funny.
I see your pic and raise you with the OG
where are my fellow boomer zoomers at?
>janny trannies deleting lego game posts
>deleting bloons threads
I don't get it.
both are great
My doormat reads "Please wipe your knees."
>exo-force pilots look at this set
>"my ancestor...."
>/lg/ complains about mechs not having knees anymore
>set from 2001 has no knees
Lego Star Wars 1 is better than 2 or Complete Sage.
>Dexter's Dinner is a way more fun hub world to explore than the Cantina. It's bright, shiny chrome was much more appealing than the overly dark, drab rendition of the Cantina. Plus every episode things got darker to reflect the movies.
>The outside parking lot with a constant good v evil brawl was a blast while that didn't exist in the Cantina.
>The original vehicle levels were a blast, filled with details and each unique from each other while the vehicle levels in 2 and CS were garbage.
>Blaster characters not having the ability to auto dodge and not having the ability to punch better balanced the melee v ranged gameplay.
>The Jedi force push ability was way more fun than mind trick
In the end 2 felt like it changed stuff that wasn't broken. And pretty much every addition in the complete sage added nothing such as power ups.
good opinion; I always preferred that diner myself
Rock Raiders, and they should totally remaster that shit
It's already been done, and by people who give a shit about the original game.
It's not the best but as a Jurassic Park autist I really appreciate Lego Jurassic World simply because it's one of the only games that lets you explore the islands, somewhat.
They really nail the atmosphere in some of the levels, too.
The Nightfall Incident
Still mad some gay charges 5 dollars for the windows version
Doe
For the longest time I thought it was The Complete Saga but after playing Marvel Superheroes I’ll have to go with it. TCS is a VERY close second though
I forgot about this
I think this was on the lego website too
game where you drive around an empty lego store in a technic car
What was this called? I played the shit out of it on their website.
Supersonic RC
Thank you anon.
There were a few flash puzzle games.
One was Junkbot, but I can't quite recall the other, you had to traverse a map and collect animals or something.
lego universe
Why has nobody posted Legoland yet?
>not one lego battles post
?si=5sPNKKw2XtnXEcTU

Threadly reminder that The LEGO Group has their own podcast about their games.
https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLayhyO1epulTt6ZISzbVV-nTaKJSVKj93
The podcast keeps reinforcing their copyright whenever they can.
So is MoP gonna get C&D’d or what
They got permission directly from TLG, it's practically endorsed officially.
YOU'RE DOING WELL, BUT YOU STILL NEED:
>MORE VISITORS
>MORE SCENERY WITH A GREATER VARIETY
>MORE RESTAURANTS WITH A GREATER VARIETY
>MORE SHOPS.
YOU NOW HAVE THREE CHANCES TO PASS AN APPRAISAL BEFORE THE PARK IS CLOSED.
i really want dimensions to get a digital rerelease, with all the cut year 3 content
cause frick, crossover shit is EXACTLY what lego is made for
LEGO Loco
>Star Wars Complete Saga
>Harry Potter 1-4
>Lord of the Rings

>Jurassic World
Certified TTkino
Did anybody play the old flash racing game where the focus was on customizing + upgrading your cars? It had online PvP which was pretty rad even if a little barebones.
Only 4 IPs mentioned bionicle, actually disgusting.
There is a handful of official lego bionicle games
Looking foward for this one
Rock Raiders.
Lego Island / Lego Racers tied for runner up.
I feel like this game had a lot of potential but there were too many paywalls that you needed to access the really cool content.
Anyone played Lego Bricktales?
It looks amazing, but how good is it as a game?
