The yellow tint is not quality based or a lottery, it's from being stored in humid environments for long periods of time

The vita is horribly uncomfrotable and has an embarrassingly small library of games.
Also it is not a convenient portable due to the exposed screen and sticks, which pretty much guarantees stick drift and a scratched to frick screen (or screen protector) if you ever put it in your pocket
I own both and in every way the 3ds mogs the absolute shit out of the vita, I wish it wasn't that way as I thought the psp was pretty good but that's just the reality of the situation

Vita does psp and ps1 perfectly, but for literally everything else (nes, snes, genesis, gba, ds etc) n3ds is far better. It helps having built in emulators on the system made by nintendo vs vitas janky homebrew ones

Those homebrew emulators have far more compatibility, due to casting a wider net. VC emulators are only programmed to work for officially released games.

Natively runs psp and ps1 games, it doesn't emulate those. For nes, snes, genesis, gba, it does it better than the 3ds. It has faster load times, more customization and more cheat options, and on top of that, the OLED screen looks far better than the 3ds screen. Hell, even the LCD screen on the 2000 looks better than the lcd screen on the 3ds.
