If you're looking for superior co-op, then pic related and Vermintide 2 are much better choices. They are also more active as well.

Big DRG and original KGgay here, I haven't played Vermintide but I'm more into 40k and looking forward to that new one. Worth getting into Vermintide anyway or should I wait?
DRG is generally pretty great with randos, the communication requirements are fairly straightforward and you get by fine without any need for VC
