that looks nasty
imagine touching that thing
Exactly that one, even tho i need to do some bullshit lying to microshit to pretend its a 360 controller to make it work.
Used to have a PS2 one with the USB adapter but ace combat made m,e destroy its R2.
I use it every planet aligment so it actually looks worse so yea...
i have that controller too
does yours actually work on pc? i was going to play with it but it's practically unusable
You need to use a software called SCP server to lie to windows so it thinks its an Xbox 360 controller running in the background and then it shows up in devices no problem, all the buttons and axis works.
>2009 + 15
>SCP piece of shit
dshidmini or just steam, moron
>yea bro, uninstall what you have already working fine and just install something new and see what happens...
Its what i use and it just werks, if there is something better out there, awesome but for me i dont care.
of course it's a 7 moron
>dshidmini only for windows 10-11
>using steam to somehow make any other software outside of it work like an emulator or pirated game because i dont use steam
Yea nah... frick that
steam fricking sucks
as someone with the controller who tried to use it though steam once it was an absolute disaster
Just use Linux.
sigh... it works when it wants to
depending on the game too
sometimes it just works
sometimes i need to use joy2key or something
othr times its not work the effort
I think more often than not it just werks though. plug and play
>DS3 knock off
disgusting
I use 8bitdo ultimate on my pc
>hits diagonal
I guess the most general-purpose controller is the Xbox One controller for me but that's not the only thing I use.
Fact: This is the best controller ever made. Nice d-pad, great triggers, good bumpers and a nice bulky feel to it without being too big (ala the duke).
>battery lasts 2 hours
>stick drift after 3 months
any controller that needs bluetooth to connect wirelessly to pc is objectively shit
symmetrical sticks brings it down a bit but it's infinitely better than the dogshit DS4
I've been using this for a while. Wish the gyro was better though
good morning gamesir
DO NOT REDEEM
SAAAR DO NOT REDEEEEEEEEEEM
some $40 slop from amazon
all I care about with controllers is that they feel decently heavy in my hands and the joysticks aren't complete garbage
I used a PS3 controller on PC because it's reliable and I've got a long cable for it.
GameCube I feel the most fondness for because I played the shit out of it when I was a kid.
The Switch Pro controller is probably my favourite overall because it just feels good and responsive, the shape is perfect for my large hands. I only use it for smash bros so I don't scuff it up
Got this in the mail the other week. Am still yet to put it through its paces.
Please, all I want is a durable controller for PC where a stick or button wont frick itself after a month of use. Controller build quality has become so goddamn dogshit.
Just get any controller that has hall effect sticks if you want a controller that will last
This one does use hall effect sticks. Just hope the shoulder buttons in particular will also hold up.
For how much did you get it? Does it have regular bumpers/triggers or is it like OG xbox controller? Now it peaked my interest
It's the "hunter" controller on retrofighters (there's also playstation and nintento variants).
In australian prices I payed $45 dollars, but shipping put it to over $120. That's still a good price here for something that will hopefully last (xbox elite costs literally double that). In hindsight I should've ordered two, but I was desperate for any remotely promising controller.
Had a ps4 controller but it broke finally after all these years so I bought a Xbox controller that was on sale. My favourite was the Switch Pro controller but I'm not spending $120 for something I rarely use
I got this a while ago mainly for retro games, but now I just use it for everything that needs a controller since it does the job and is comfortable to me. Dpad is squishy which I prefer, but it also has some nice things like adaptive triggers, and it should work on pretty much any device. I only use it wired, so can't say anything about its wireless responsiveness. I just don't like that it uses the start button to power on/off. And the software feels very Chinese
I think this version of the controller is now defunct though
I got different version of that controller myself recently and I love it. My only complaint is that the sticks could feel grippier but otherwise it's perfect
They should make a dock+hall effect sticks version of this just like on ultimate, and that would be the real ultimate.
this one looks really nice, would really like to get one myself
I bought one of these a while back and the analog stick made a grinding noise whenever I used it.
A shame since the rest of the controller felt solid and the D-pad felt much better than the Xbox controller I'm using now.
She's happy to see ya
>under the sea
>under the sea
>colon be hurting
>inside the curtain
>i need some tp
>troonix
>logitech bluetooth controller
Yep, it's gayming time.
Steam or Switch Pro controllers.
are there any aftermarket controllers that are relatively high quality?
the ones i've had in the past have been trash
Controllers that have theses are high quality https://youtu.be/oAsrLxaAkY0
The Xbox one controller is my go-to atm. Works well, good battery life and seems to hold up ok. Just sucks that there's not an included rechargeable battery.
DS4/5 were both nice to use but the battery life is a deal breaker.
Switch Pro is ok but no analog triggers sucks ass. Same deal with the Wii U procontroller.
For PC that is, using anything but the included controller for a console is just dummy shit
Dualshock 1-3 > DualShock 4 > Dualsense > i'd rather stop playing games
dualsense edge
used to be my Xbox360 controllers but now my pc doesn't recognize my wireless reciever even after assigning the official drives included in windows to that device, so now i'm just using my dualshock 3s
one day i'll buy a tv stand
I was surprised at how much I liked it after I started using it.
I was using a Dualshock 3 with DsHidMini for a while, but I upgraded my CPU and mobo recently and now the button mappings are completely screwy, even with removing and reinstalling the drivers.
probably conflicting drivers
did you follow the documentation? there's instructions on how to remove it
I've tried them all, but for me it's pic related.
since my old ps2 controller finally started to die I just got a DualShock 4 it's worked great so far
DS4 is the most ergonomic for me. I just love how good it feels in the hands
360
Perfection.
kino coming through
Post your tiny cute hands anon :3
nyo i'm shy >.<
series x for 3d games and not overly intensive 2d games
saturn controller for 2d games
ds3 goodmorninggamesirs. Left bumper is malfunctioning and A button mash is slower than I apply it irl. Probably should open it and switch around rubbers like on brick game "console"
dont those knock offs always have huge deadzones
I wish I could just fricking natively use my PS4 controller on my damn PS3
even with it plugged in it doesnt have rumble or home button support frick you sony
Dualsense. DS4 feels like a toy now, DS3 felt like a toy too when I got my DS4. One thing Sony still does right is controllers.
has anyone noticed that the new xbox controllers are significantly worse than the xbox one controllers? like the dpad is fricked now. and all the reviews say they break in a few months.
>all the PS4/PS5 and Xbone/Series controllers draw components from the same manufacturer meaning that you could cannibalize parts between competitors
>costing a couple of cents a piece you could effectively replace the sticks yourself when they bung out if you know how to solder
>made even worse that the Elite series pull from the same general parts bin while asking for 200% more on the end price
where the hell can you get decent replacement ps2 controllers and be certain that they have pressure sensitive buttons
Xbox one controller is the only acceptable answer. It's made for white people hands with some size to it so you aren't bashing your thumbs together when you use the sticks. Playstation controllers are made for tiny good ricecels and it shows the instant you hold it. Xbox controllers are also way less fragile and in my experience not prone to stick drift
I use a xbox controller with a usb c cable pluggrd into my pc.. D pad is good with fighting games n shit...
It was around 83 dollars canadian if u cant get the usb c xbox controller get the wireless one and buy a separate 6ft or more usb c cable for the pc.
