It respects the player's time and doesn't fall into autism simulator territory like literally every clone.

D2 is one of the most overrated pieces of shit I've ever played. Even that remaster couldn't save its dated as frick gameplay, so many other games have surpassed it since.

    Lack of good developers

D2 was good and is still pretty good in this era but it's outdated and is missing good feeling when using abilities.

D3 was good but lacked end game at the beginning of release and at this point it's just a bunch of garbage on top, why are there like 40 difficulties? Makes no sense

POE was promising but desync killed the game, as well as the fact that there's like 400 services that constantly don't work

Also POE lacked actual enjoyment in the game, you just use 1 damaging skill and 1 mobility skill. The skill tree was cool but the rest of the gamer is lacking.

Rest of the ARPG genre have shit art direction or require you to pick up every piece of loot to get gold or are just lacking in smoothness of gameplay

I pray D4 will be different, but leaked gameplay is promising

I'm in the beta and you might want to lower those expectations

If this genre evolved past clicking garbage, it'd thrive more. Builds being inaccessible due to the sheer autism that tricks players into thinking that having a billion paths that effectively do the same thing is diverse bogs it down. Skill trees in ARPG are vomit inducing. Diablo 2 is king because while it's simple, it doesn't rely on autism shit in order to have lasting appeal.

That's literally every single aRPG though including Ganker's(moronic no taste weeb really) darling, Dark Souls and Dragon Dogma. Ironically one of the only aRPG that gives you build diversity are Bethesda RPG.

    >what does d2 have
Fricking nothing. D2 has been played to death. Its like everyone agreed a mozart opera was the pinnacle of music and music for the rest of human history was literally that one opera remixed every day.

We need isometric creativity. Forget D2, we have to ditch the entire playbook and start fresh.

Who the frick cares about ARPGs?
People that are "into" ARPGs are into 'gameplay' that consists of minmaxing talents and items by running absolutely trivial non-content as many times as possible in order to create their perfect game: holding left mouse button to zip through a randomly generated but completely indistinct game map while interacting with it as little as can be done
ARPG fans want games that are as stimulating as jingling car keys in front of an infant, except they get mad if it doesn't take them 50 hours to get the keys out and they REALLY hate it if the game doesn't reset every few months to make them do the 50 hour setup again.
If you've never tried these kinds of games, like PoE or even Warframe, I heavily recommend you NEVER EVER try them, because you never want to realize how fricking braindead a huge portion of the population is if that's what they consider entertaining.

    time
roguelikes and games like vampire survivors condense the arpg experience so you can experience multiple builds in a fraction of the time it take in a arpg

Man, I just want an ARPG where you get to pick a meaningful race that impacts your builds, classes that feel unique and the standard is 4 player coop against few but tough enemies. More tactics and working together, less one person room clearing for hours for a drop.

lol you realise that covering that code won't help. there's other ways to determine who leaked it. You're fricked op.
