It's linear levels. The game's website said so. I think its gonna have similar level structure to Pac Man World 2. Linear, but having big sections and alt paths to explore.

People don't understand that Kirby isn't supposed to be hardcore. It's supposed to be an enjoyable and relaxing experience where the challenge comes from finding the secrets and 100%ing everything. If you're playing Kirby games just to get to the end, you're not playing them right. You literally have to attempt to 100% them in order to enjoy them properly. And that's when you realize they're some of the best designed games Nintendo makes, flat out.

ngl I wish it was fully 3d like odyssey. It looks like it is more super mario 3d all stars + bowser's fury (in the sense that it has a fixed camera with 3d movement and over the shoulder camera with 3d movement sections). I'm still hype though anyway. Haven't had a fricking 3d kirby for 18 years

Fair enough, that game's so good anything else will blanch by comparison.
Personally I blame all the kumazakigays hyping this shit up as some sort of Odyssey type true 3D open world game with CUH-RAYZAY DMC combat, not willing to reconcile the obvious fricking signs like Blowout Blast and Battle Royale that this was going to be the most basic, safest venture they've ever engaged in, since they are perfectionist autists and have decades of failed 3D jumps to learn from (Like Sonic). The 3D World approach was the most sensible direction to go in all things considered.
Maybe in the next game they will stretch their wings more and fly to greener pastures, but for now, you only have yourself to blame for overhyping yourself.

I don't think that's true. Everyone loves Super Star, everyone loves seeing their favorite characters being useful, but first and foremost Kirbygays crave passion and creativity from the series. Most fans were getting sick of the RtDL formula for that reason.

I don't think it's Shiver Star, it looks like the culture is based on the enemy creatures called the "Beast Corps," and it wouldn't be Shiver Star without its perpetual winter and killbots guarding the cities from aliens.
