I don't think you know what the word "iconic" means.

reminder that you can't learn the first two past 16
if you haven't already started learning japanese, or if you haven't been drawing consistently before that age, you never will reach any level of proficiency

No cope. I can read VNs/games/manga just fine and I started learning past 20.

You can try, but your neuroplasticity is so rock solid, your brain will not absorb any new information.

van gogh didnt touch a pencil before 30 and only much later after feeling like he had a voice decided to go to artschool

love or hate his art, you can't deny the man made shit that resonated with people

van gogh is a case of the mainstream rallying behind some icon and making it much larger than reality, the starry night aesthetics look way better than the actual painting itself

Not true, I neglected my talent for drawing for years and I still have it.

Talent doesn't exist, it's just interest and motivation making you practice and becoming better.

You can become a decent artist without talent but talent sure does exist. Some people are just naturally better at some things.

it's definitely the code that makes a game iconic

It's none of the above, take it from a man who never held a controller in his life yet still made the most iconic video-game company. It's about becoming a meme, becoming the monopoly and setting those standards that everyone else follows.

    >I'll never learn how to draw
    >I'll never learn Japanese
    >I'll never learn how to 3d model
    >I'll never learn how to code
    >I'll never learn ???
    >I'll never learn how to make music

    What's the ???, I'm assuming it's how to write a book.

That’s writing, the guy in the picture is Harold Bloom a (in)famous literature professor who taught at Harvard and wrote a book called the “Western Canon” which describes various authors he believes has literary merit, should be taught in universities and should be “canonized”

He has a lot of provocative opinions, the pasta about Harry Potter and Rowling having no discernible talent is based off of stuff he said

duh. unless your making your own oc or custom stuff, you use models. computers should be efy enough to move modern ones around at a stable framerate

and on further consideration, I don't think オピィis what people on 5chan or whatever actually use to refer to OP. If anything, "OP" is fine. Same with "BBC" instead of ビビシィ. Also 行くcould be イく (not necessary but to make the joke funnier) and 言うshould be used rather than 言って

    >have no money no social skills
Then you have to do everything yourself which will take years and years possibly even decades since you have to teach yourself various skills on top of making stuff and somehow you have to avoid getting burnt out and bored during all this
    >have social skills but no money
You either have to rely on friends or the good will of volunteers working for free. Once again everything will take forever since everyone has different schedules and no one is obligated to work full time for you, you all have to work on this on the hopes that no one (not just yourself, everyone else) doesn’t get burnt out or the project doesn’t end up in development hell where nothing gets finished
    >have money but no social skills
Well you better have a lot of money because you are going to have to hire someone who can manage people and make sure they get shit done, that interpersonal drama doesn’t get in the way of your project because all devs are drama queens who can’t just shut up and do their jobs, and so on. There’s also the problem that the people you hire won’t understand your artistic vision or what you actually want because of your poor communication skills and can end up making something you aren’t happy with. Depending on how much money you have and how many people are involved you may have to make cuts to scope and features otherwise you risk having a project that will end up in development hell. Depending on how much money you’re spending you may end up financially ruined if it doesn’t become a hit.
    >have money and social skills
Even with all the money and social skills there’s still a risk everything will turn out shit anyways or the game will flop because of other various factors in the background, bad luck, drama between devs, miscalculating scope and budget, feature creep, or everyone involved just not giving a shit
