What makes Iron Hands OP? Also, does Flutter Mane also need a nerf?

Having better stats than frickin Groudon maybe idk
Belly Drum attack maximising + Quark Drive/Booster Energy choice band-like attack boost w/out being locked in + 140 Attack stat + 120 BP STAB move + Terastallizing STAB Boost
Not mention great bulk and recovery through drain punch
>one of the highest HP stats in the game
>massive fricking attack
>above average defense
>spdef isn't even THAT bad especially with AV
>bad spatk isn't a weakness on a physical attackers
>speed is a lot less important in doubles than it is in singles
>Fake Out
>serviceable recovery thanks to Drain Punch
It's wild that so many VGC players thought Bundle was the best for so long. This shit is unironically more broken than Flutter Mane.
It's capable of stall, so it stays
>It's wild that so many VGC players thought Bundle was the best for so long
I think people slept on most of the future paradoxes because electric terrain is kinda ass until we get tapu koko back, but Iron Hands is just too cracked
Rent-free, moron
Hands had better usage than Bundle since day one of Series 2/Reg B.
>speed is a lot less important in doubles than it is in singles
i thought speed control (tailwind, twave, etc) was one of the biggest things in doubles/vgc?
Speed control is the reason, yeah. In singles, if you’re slower than the other guy, then you likely aren’t winning the matchup, and you’ll take up an entire turn switching into something else that will be vulnerable to their move. This is mostly why Smogon tends to ban fast attackers, because often your only option against them is giving them turns where you’re totally vulnerable. In doubles if you’re slower than the other guy, you have a second pokemon on the field to support your attacker- tailwind, twave, trick room, fake out, playing the prediction game and hoping they don’t target down that slot. All ways of alleviating the disadvantage of that matchup.
oh yeah then that makes sense lol, i figured speed was still important for moving first but didnt consider how speed control alleviates that shit instead of making fast mons faster
am regarded
hands mustve also buttraped in the few weeks everyone and their mother ran trick room when luna dropped
>oh yeah then that makes sense lol, i figured speed was still important for moving first but didnt consider how speed control alleviates that shit instead of making fast mons faster
Nta but don't forget that in doubles really useful moves like follow me and rage powder have natural priority as well so it's easier to keep attacks off your slow mon
>dude hariyama is a fricking robot now LMAO
paradox mons were a mistake
Nah you are.
Nah you are.
i struggle the living shit vs that mons, feels like it does everything.
HI GUYS!
>let's turn hydreigon into a robot and then call it A NEW POKEMON!!!
paradox mons, without a single shadow of doubt, were a mistake
Worst paradox
More than Thorns or Leaves?
Are the secondary heads really separate? That's really cool. He could probably shoot them off like drones
it seems like they were always just arms and not actual heads since original hydreigon
Yeah. The heads aren’t connected to the main body at all.
Missed opportunity of giving it dragon darts with a unique animation. I know it has dogshit physical attack but still
Flutter would be balanced if it didn't have Moonblast, it's annoying that they realized this for Tapu Koko but gave it something even faster and stronger
Iron Hands and Flutter Mane are the most minmaxed paradoxes, each having an absolutely massive movepool.
hes the best
Iron Hands is cute
av existence, this thing cannot be one shoted at all, and any moron can give you problem playing with this
I love this badnik-looking motherfricker like you wouldn't believe.
