Soul Knight. Pretty good game, action roguelike, evolved from a shitty Nuclear Throne knockoff to an actually fun game. Kinda burned out on it though, the latest season is very clearly halfhearted. Waiting for the prequel game, can't wait to make my own battlemage.
Ye the cloud system takes a lot of getting used to, but it also enables a good bit of optional "white lie" abuse of various RNG aspects of the game which I appreciated a lot. As a vet player who's done his fair share of trickery I prefer the manual saving system, but your frustration is understandable. Fot what it's worth, there should be some kinda guide floating around on youtube for you to unlock a bunch of paid characters, or you might even be able to edit files through an emulator or if you rooted your phone and get all the paid shit, or all the shit you lost even. I'm personally too scared of rooting my phone cause I'm monumentelly unlucky with tech and emulators can't run on me old laptop, so I'm a filthy F2P but there is still plenty of content for me to do.
Badass is a meme mode, I don't consistently clear it either, especially if we're talking no garden buffs. Few people actually consider badass a good gamemode, so don't be hard on yourself.

I agree although some of the mythic weapons are cool. Feels like the collision buff is mandatory due to how many mobs the game mode throws at you. Any word on when the prequel game is being released?
