picrel wired
Razer Viper Ultimate (Wireless).
I got the same thing. Is there any real performance difference with new mice and something relatively dated like the viper ultimate?
I can only guess the clicks / shell / sensor are better, but by how much I don't know.
They also removed the rubber grips on the side on the newer Viper models.
I was considering buying a vertical mouse, maybe one of those with a stick on top for the hell of it, I already have a mouse so it's mostly just to see if I can try some games one-handed, is it worth it or are they extremely bad?
Look out! Here comes teh wireless cult to happily defend their snake oil
As of about a month ago, Razer Basilisk 2.
Pulsar X2A Mini. With grip tape!
Got a g pro for 60 bucks just the other day, very happy with it
wired
never bought wireless, might tho when my shit breaks, but will buy those with removable AAA battery, not gonna trust li-ion ones that might broke in a few yrs
G703. wireless, it feels a lot better not having the wire tugging back on the mouse.
I use a trackball for basic browsing.
I never understood why people liked that mouse. The hump was awful and the materials used didn't allow any breathing so you were super sweaty.
>The hump was awful
perfect for palm grip. it could be slightly larger even.
>and the materials used didn't allow any breathing so you were super sweaty.
I don't have this problem, is that why zoomers buy mice with holes in them now?
My mouse doesn't have holes and I don't have this problem.
that one but wired
I love the g502, but holy shit the wheel is so bad, every single one I had the wheel broke after a year
i use a factory 300 dollar default gateway computer's mouse that i bought for my shop at a walmart over a decade ago, but i went to a PC cafe once and the zowie FK2 wasn't too bad. some of those headphones at the PC places fricking suck and i finally understand why some people complain about their headphones. the sounds just came in all the wrong directions and these were popular brands
8 years old. but mine still working despite the rust.
strong mouse
Sorry quoted the wrong post.
Corsair Dark Core RGB, wireless. It has a thumb and pinky rest, also charges using USB-C or Qi wireless.
I bought my G502 almost 10 years ago now. Im about to build a new pc and update my peripherals along with it but i genuinely cant see any better mice innovations by anyone else that will stop me just buying a newer g502 version
Following this, ive never bought a Razer product that hasnt broken within a year. Even if they have made innovations, i wouldnt consider them
The same Razer death adder essential I've been using for the last 4 years. It just werks
An 5 year old wired Roccat Kone but the main buttons and the wheel are not aging very well, the clicks are beginning to feel much less positive. Good mouse otherwise. Funnily my most solid mouse ever has been the MX516. I used it for like 15 years.
Wireless to try it out. DeathAdder V3 Pro. I'm impressed at how good the shape and feel of the material coating is. It's lightweight without homosexual speedholes and there is no discernable difference between wired and wireless coming from a Model-O and G502. The battery life is excellent, as well.
G305 for the past 3 yrs
Wired. Managed to step up in the world by getting one that has more than just two buttons and a wheel. The thumb buttons are great for rebinding.
thoughts on razer deathadder v3 non pro?
I use the Deathadder V2 wired for league of legends most of the time. Clicks are perfect for mobas. I really don't have a preference for FPS games.
If you want the best tech/sensor and don't mind wired it's a great mouse. Clicks are a bit loud on my V3 Pro though.
Not sure how the V3 wired sounds though. Since the shell is more solid than what the creaky V3 Pro becomes.
G502x wireless.
G502X wired. Lighter than the G502 and sits slightly nicer in your hand.
G900. Hybrid.
wired, I got it for 35€.
The buttons are loud as frick.
The scroll wheel in particular is just a massive fricking meme sound machine. Rubber tends to melt over time just like every other Logimeme mouse as well.
Everything else about it is great though, especially since it sells for 50 bucks or less.
A crappy wired logitech mouse that costs 5 dollerinos. Had it for around 2 years now and I wouldn't change it for any other mouse. If it breaks one day, I'll get the same one.
Funny enough that what I started doing. After a while I figured it would be cheaper just to solder new mouse switches on since that was the common reason for it breaking.
/v/ros what's a good vertical mouse
Was it able to alleviate your 10 finger RSIs, wrists and limbs' pains?
>What mouse are you using for games right now?
roccat because i like the shape of them
>Wired or wireless?
wireless with AAs but i dont care either way, got wireless because it was on sale this time
Question for G502 users, can I set the G4/G5 buttons to be just "mouse3" and "mouse4"? It seems I can only assign them to functions or macros. How can I make them just be generic mouse buttons which I can then bind to actions in games?
you need to make profiles for each game using the Hub software. it will switch to your custom settings when you are using different programs/games. in the software i go to manage profiles and select the game ive setup in there, then frick around with settings for that particular game.
this might fix what you are having an issue with. If a game doesnt detect the button, then assign a normal key to it. like letter L or K, something the game isnt using. then in game when i press the mouse button it thinks it is K or L on the keyboard.
i just made Mouse4 type sage when i press it in firefox.
i paid this like 15 eur new. it's pretty great but wouldn't pay full price for it. feels really solid too
Trackball.
I've been using a G604 for the last few years and bought an extra one just in case Logitech doesn't refresh the model.
Steelseries rival 3.
Its nice mouse, but sensor is not le best.
picrel wired, want to buy another one but the cable is not braided anymore, what the frick logitech
Is there any mouse that's
>wireless
>adjusts dpi with a button on the mouse instead of some stupid software
>won't ever double-click
Bonus for no gay rgb shit.
op's mouse great value, especially on sale just with it had more buttons on the side
ive got a second one when this starts double clicking eventually, tho its been literal years so im feeling safe for a while
I got a regular G600 after my prodigy proke
Zowie fk2. wired
Steelseries rival 600 (wired). It's the nearly perfect shape for my hand. No other comes close and it can be had for less than 40€ on sale
What are some good mice for fingertip grip. Wired only please. I would still like to have sex with women.
for me, it's the Outset AX
>tfw medium sized hands
Do I go for a small mouse or a large one
>right now
Right now I'm on my laptop, so I'm using a Logitech M195.
was using a G403 but needed more buttons
now using a G502 which has more buttons and lets me left click faster due to its shape.
Are optical switches a meme?
I'm never ever spending more than 10e on logitech shit
I thought they were a meme until my mouse started double clicking. Current mouse has optical switches but it's too new to experience any double clicking so I can't make the call if they're more reliable
most mice are using the same switches.
look up how to replace them, its brain dead easy and the switches themselves are extremely simple.
its basically a little morse code clicker, with very few points of failure. they are so simple it makes me wonder if people are dirty or if humidity is causing people issues.
It was a 6 year old mouse that I used daily so I figured it just wore out. I did clean it and don't live anywhere tropical. Honestly I just used it as an excuse to buy myself a shiny new mouse for a change of pace.
just for fun
?si=qvOQnDKj3fOHBKsh&t=92
replacing
?si=VGh8FbxUdgM-LdXY&t=663
because the contacts are metal i assume humidity, like in a shower, could build up and leave residue behind that could conflict with the signal.especially where the parts meet, blocking or adding weird clicking characteristics.
MX Ergo, expensive, but worth it
I'm using wired and will keep using wired until they lower the price of wireless.
Convenience is good but proprietary wireless dongs that may or may not function with stability are a huge risk factor.
Prime's a good mouse just wish the side buttons were slightly wider and extended slightly further out.
No. Ultimate isn't really dated. V3 switches are stiffer, the 4k/8k sensor is a meme. If you're looking at technical info then maybe 2 MS extra latency at most.
Zowie has EC wireless mice. They're kind of overpriced for specs but then again what Zowie product isn't. You're paying for the build.
There's a ton of new 3395 mice that are all solid. Those "big dick brand name" mice have a purpose though. They'll be much easier to return under warranty if an issue arises.
My experience with Logitech and Razer have been much better than my experience with Lamzu and Ninjutso
To be honest for those big dick brand names, I already got both Razer, a Basilisk and a Logitech G Pro so I just want to try something else entirely.
steelsleries prime right now. Had a deathadder v2 and the wheel was fricking jumping when scrolling. it disappeared after cleaning it but it then came back some days later frick razer
just bought this one.
my favourite was X-748 but they decided to stop making them. made me real sad.
this one's okay
I've been looking for non big dick brand names mouses for a while now. What are some good stuff that are not Logitech, Razer or Corsair? Been considering Pulsar or Zowie stuff but Zowie doesn't seem to have any wireless mouse.
Zowie definitely has wireless mice, always reliable and very popular with esportsgays. And Pulsar mice are really good too but have really shit quality assurance. If yours works perfectly it's a great mouse with all the bells and whistles but there's a fair chance of you getting a mouse that breaks in 2 weeks. My first Pulsar mouse I had to get replaced cause it was defective
I don't know about good stuff but I always wanted to try weird and overdone designs like Elecom mice.
Usikg a g203 on my desktop until I can find something that tickles my fancy.
Using an old Mx Master 2S for my workstation laptop.
Parsec makes gaming on my workstation laptop not just possible, but extremely enjoyable.
I’m running Alan Wake 2 at full res with path tracing, on a 6th gen i7 with a N2000N, basically a 750ti with 4GB of vram.
Kids nowadays don’t know what they have, or how to use it.
Can’t wait for my Redmagic 9. Gonna be rad to have Switch games available locally on my phone, and the same parsec functionality for the games my phone can’t run. It should be pretty neat.
