Everyone instantly goes to the meme song. Meanwhile, I distinctly remember writing "Servatis a periculum, servatis a maleficum" on desks thinking I was the raddest edgelord in middle school.

We know anon, no need to go around telling everyone, it's obvious the moment you walk into a room, you don't even need to speak for people to look at you and see the cringing failure inside you that drives you to lash out at other people's fun in a desperate attempt to make them feel as miserable as you always are. Seek help buddy, it gets better.

NTA, but he clearly touched a nerve, didn't he? They do fricking suck, and saying so doesn't need to elicit that response from you. I'm not miserable and not trying to make anyone miserable, but I'll definitely back that up. Evanescence sucks, it's embarrassing. I'm sure some of the music I like you would probably think sucks as well, but I wouldn't accuse you of all that stuff.
        Take your own advice, anon.

I went through a spell of reading 4e PDFs while listening to System of a Down, so now I associate a bunch of their songs - mostly from Hypnotize - with the eldritch entities like Caiphon and Hadar.

Silence, so I can focus when planning and so everyone can hear each other when running.

For World of Darkness I really like the Dark Ambient genre. D&D, though, it's gotta be Bardcore.

Similar with me, but weirdly its 40k and Dolly Parton. My mom picked me up from school one day and surprised me with the 3rd edition rulebook as a present, so I was reading it on the way home while she listened to a Best Of Dolly cassette tape. Miss you mom>/spoiler]

Sometimes I still listen to it while painting. The songwriting has held up well, the drums sound as awful as ever. In general I associate baby's first extreme metal bands with warhammer.

    Depends
    >painting/assembling my vietnam themed IG
    60-70s music.
    >painting/assembling my BTs or crusader themed khornate army
Palestinalied and the soundtrack from Crusades with Terry Jones.
    >paiting/assembling my CoB
    Perturbator, Carpenter Brut, and such.
    >making character sheet for a super villain who was basically just a big troll who lived underground and grew goblin minions from his skin
Down Down in Goblin Town and Underground by Tom Waits.
    >state sheet for militaristic space japan
Battotai and taiko war drums, etc.

And it just keeps going like that.

In our very first ever TTRPG session(Shadowrun 4e) as a friendgroup, my bud bust out this song for a hectic car chase we had running away from corpo security. I was playing the prebuilt Radical Eco Shaman and used the mass mind control thing to slam 6 jeeps into eachother.

When I play Cyberpunk 2020 with friends usually I put punk/metal/rock/electronic from the 1970 to 1990 to give that Old Style Cyberpunk feel. Bopth while preparing the campaign alone to when we play.
