Adult kangaskhan are born out of eggs with infants already in their pouch, it doesnt make sense. It should've gotten a baby in Gen 2 as soon as they came up with the idea of breedig
its ok that pokemon can create infinite water and travel through time and grant wishes and shapeshift but being "born" with a baby is too freaking weird and wacky

Yes, glad we agree
That's not a mystery, it's literally just a baby Kangaskhan

>born out of eggs with infants already in their pouch
daycare eggs are cradles, they were already born prior.
I would normally wave a hand at this, as it's just your another lore/gameplay dissonance, but there was an official pamphlet that instructed third parties on how to present certain aspects of Pokemon. And the pamphlet spicifically instructed to avoid mentioning relation between Kangaskhan mom and baby
I can't find the scans tho
I'm mad that someone posted like a tiny amount of pregen 2 stuff about eggs and it made me come around on the "Your Pokemon don't actually lay the eggs you find" concept. Eggs are made of dirt and plant fibers, Pokemon give birth and then immediately build eggs around their children to cradle them while they finish developing. When your Pokemon are at the daycare (or in a picnic) the other Pokemon who DID lay the egg will slip it into the field with them (or into the basket) because wild Pokemon can tell that life with a trainer is better when they see 2 Pokemon playing around who really get along. All eggs are actually orphans that have been given up to your Pokemon because they get along so well and they must be living better lives. Egg groups are just Pokemon who get along better explicitly in a way that makes wild Pokemon think their egg will be more well taken care of and happier. I hate that this clicked for me as hard as it did.
how would that explain inheriting natures and IVs, or daycares/picnics happening nowhere near wild Pokemon of the species you're breeding (if they can even be found in the wild)

Found it
Kangaskhan is a two-headed pokemon, and one head is significantly smaller than the other. It uses this smaller head to lure in prey the same way a snapping turtle uses its tongue. >But the baby gets out for its Mega form!
The Mega Evolution detached kangaskhan's second head and caused it to grow arms and legs. It's an abomination. >But in the anime...
We all know the anime isn't cannon.
It was Gen 4 that made gen 5 sell less. Gen 4 (D/P to be precise) is the one that people hated for being slow, have not enough new pokemon, shallow characters and being very tedious.
Platinium fixed all of these things. Thats why its saved Gen 4. But Many people LEFT the franchise by then and they did not supported gen 5.

Canon so moronic that it's non-canon. Eggs are eggs.
Would have been a much better candidate instead of Igglybuff and Cleffa. And now Gamefreak seems allergic to the idea.
That's still really weird though, since then you have a baby in a cradle its own baby.

Zero explanation/lore whatever for why this is happening so yes it's obv weird and wrong to anyone who isn't moronic lol.
you have autism

they could have used Bombirdier to explain it but instead they just wanted to give us insanely boring dexfiller
iv's aren't canon they're an obtuse rng game mechanic you're not supposed to know or care about
>pokemon never die
after reading this I've noticed that the anime has never said a Pokemon fainted

Why did gen 5 flopped?
