BDSP, PLA. In Gen 8 alone you get 3 copies of Dialga, Palkia and Giratina. They don't care about comparability anymore since the Dex cut and every game is it's own thing.

They did this shit with SWSH too with NONE of the Gen 4 mythicals being in the game when every Generation had at least a Mythical or two in it.
You can't even get any of the Gen 6 mythicals in any of the games either currently (A Kalos game would fix that issue just like PLA did)

The game in 2024 is a passion project from a fair amount of talented Japanese fans that gamefreak gave the responsibility to that entirely remakes Crystal, working with ILCA (ILCA is mostly in charge of the compatibility, and doesn't really make the game.) It's rumored to be eons more ambitious than HGSS and is called Mind Crystal.
The second game is one for 2025 that takes place in the future where Celebi takes the MC to a corrupted dystopian future where team rocket takes over the region, and you are sent to take it down. Called Celebi: World of corruption.
Nothing is wrong with remaking Yellow, I just hated how let's go went about it. It's like they added all of the bullshit from nugens, and the old gens at the same time minus the problem of HMs.

Pokemon XSZ and YVZ. The region is modified a bit to encourage linearity rather than Open Worldliness and you start in the Terrarium rather than Paldea. In addition to the DLC areas, Paldea itself is expanded into the North East region of the map (which bleeds into Kalos and is where the character goes on their exchange student trip, Kitakami is post game). New gimmick; Mega Terrestrialization.
Pokemon Legends: Celebi and it will be the best game since HGSS which was the best game since Crystal
