Raichu already has a regional variant. But a raichu megaevolution looking like gorochu would be the thing. And honestly I expect exactly genius designs like this for Z-A rather than "generic" megaevolution in the gen 6 style

Arbok absolutely needs something, almost every other version exclusive from gen 1 has gotten a new form and it's still stuck with a sub 500 BST. Would prefer a regular evo like annihilape but I'll take anything.
I wanna see Pokémonike Zoroark or Mimikyu get Megas to have new abilities after their illusion/decoy breaks. I think it’d be an interesting wrinkle in the gameplay

it's too perfect, it's a fan favorite and the only logical next step to the design is taking it out from underneath the disguise, which is a concept much better suited to a mega than an evolution

I kind of want to see one for Ariados with Merciless (to abuse with toxic thread). Guess of good chunk of the 100 BST increase would need to go into speed, but I like megas that shake up how a mon works. Ariados is already useable in doubles (battle facilities). It’d be cool if it did something other than suicide hazard setup in singles.
Granted, getting a mega instead of a regular evo for a mon with a BST of 400 is always going to feel a bit of a monkey’s paw, and it’s not as if Ariados wouldn’t benefit from eviolite.
Mega golem shedding his shell and becoming a fast rock/ground would be kino also give it shell smash.
Some more gen V megas would also be good, maybe the decent bugs

i think it goes without saying gen 5+ is going to be the focus this time, if mons like chandelure and haxorus don't get them i'm gonna be astonished
Mega haxorus and chandelure are going to be absurd levels of powercreep if/when they make it into the next main series game. If those two get megas, I wouldn't be surprised if they gave Volcarona one since it's probably the most popular 5th gen mon.
the only reason i excercised enough restraint not to say volcarona is because it got two paradox forms, otherwise it's a no brainer. chandelure is the most popular gen 5 mon though according to most polls, believe it or not.
Volc seems to be getting some recent favoritism from GF at least, so I could see that continuing. chandelure is also one of the better gen V designs, so I wouldn't be mad if it got a mega at all
