Literally anything medieval fantasy-related. The setting puts me to sleep, it's the most mind-numbing genre I can think of. I feel bad missing out on so many objectively great and well-loved titles, but I can't fricking do it. I'm pretty sure the only fantasy game I've actually beaten was Oblivion. Skyrim I got maybe 40% of the way through, Witcher 3 maybe 30%, Dark Souls I think I played 15 minutes of, I fought the first crab in Morrowind and turned the game off. I don't know how people do it.
Funny enough, Morrowind is the only fantasy game I can think of that seems to have a somewhat intriguing world. Still doesn't make me want to spend the 50+ hours or whatever it takes to get to your webm.
>50+ hours
what's kind of funny is that you could take that amount of time to get there, but more realistically you reroll a different character a few times, read some wikis/guides, and then just suddenly get there in under 8 hours and then nothing's a challenge
Bruh the whole game is just clicking on text about gay hobbit shit and missing your swings. I'm not investing 50+ hours into that and there's nothing you can say to make me change my mind.
all recent (2015 or after) *popular open world games. Normally I really like open world games but everything included in that category has been a swing and a total miss for me. plus half of them felt like they took a perfectly normal game and shoehorned in the open world without understanding what makes open world good. for clarification when i say popular i mean really mainstream and incredibly well known
this is actually really understandable, I really like the elder scrolls games BUUT the main reason for that is because i'm pretty well versed in the lore and it makes it a lot more enjoyable, skyrim would've been a complete and total snoozefest for me if I wasn't into the lore, and it has quite some pieces of 'lore' (ie the atrocious dawnguard shit, frick that smelly piece of shit dlc. it's comical how much better dragonborn dlc is) I personally pretend never happened in the lore. Medieval fantasy is an oversaturated market if you ask me
can't speak for morrowind tho. did you go pure vanilla or lightly mod it (ie slapping on one of the patches of your choosing)
>Medieval fantasy is an oversaturated market if you ask me
This is what gets me, how same-y all these games are and just how unending their supply seems to be. Don't people get bored of these franchises all looking identical? >did you go pure vanilla or lightly mod it
Vanilla, I wouldn't even know where to begin to know what needs modding in Morrowind.
I wanted to like Disco Elysium but the woke parts really put me off. The game tries to act like its neutral like a fallout game but its still really biased, not as biased as a game like the last of us but in ways that worse, its sneaky. >Game treats a midly bigoted dweeb like gary like hes evil >Measurehead is treated like hes misguided even if hes an imperalist >Moral intern is a imperialist body that destroys a ton of shit. LE BAD >Commies destroy a ton of shit. LE GOOD.
The game is hypocritical and doesn't believe what it says. Also making the black old bigoted guy secretly gay made my eyes roll into my head it was so cornball.
honestly my main gripe with it was the godawful pacing, it felt like it was trying to be 20 things at once. i honestly couldn't finish the game because of this. be nerdy and heckin intellectual, be a detective game, be mysterious and existentially philosophical, be reddit-tier realistic and smug, i dont fricking care just stop trying to smush so much shit together with zero effort put in
mgsv
Almost every nintendo game
Any farming/life-sims
Turn-based strategies
Monster hunter games
ASShomosexualS of all kinds
Tacticool/tryhard shooters
Dark souls 2, 3, and bloodborn
Plenty of other things I’m sure, but things I don’t care about are generally things I don’t bother thinking about. It’s not that I hate them, but I’m just not part of their audience.
Combat sucks, RPG elements were a joke even in 1, dialogue tree is laughably simple (once you've chose nice or mean there is never a reason to switch up), and the few times their were interesting choices always got ruined by the sequels going well you chose wrong so now this situation is just bad.
Skyrim.
To this day, I have an absolute and profound hatred for Vanilla Skyrim and I believe that the only reason it ever was considered GOTY is because it is nothing more than a mass addiction.
Skyrim isn't a videogame, it's a time sink of the most awful kind. A game that does not respect the player in the slightest and only expects him to buy Skyrim again and forge daggers for hours upon hours on end.
For all of the hype it got for its GRAFFIX, it is by far one of the ugliest AAA open world shit that was ever conceived.
its just Italian mobsters killing each other but they made it into a three movie story of the ages, it insists upon itself.
im going to assume peter means the whole thing not just the first movie
Coffin of Andy and Leyley
Frick that gay shit and its fricking shills on Ganker. Literally devoid of any actual discussion besides hurr durr incest more like wincest xD and muh milf, yet they have a thread 24/7 where they repeat the same talking points every fricking thread.
How about they frick off to /vg/ where they belong
you obviously weren't on Ganker for smash threads or undertale and if that triggers you you'll want to avoid it some more when deltarune chapter 3 is released.
I thought of another game. days gone........what a pile of shit.

Similar to playing a long RPG like this with console commands and blasting through it in a few hours. Maybe I'll finally get around to it one day.
You heard me.
whats your favourite class(es)?
my n'wah
morrowind isn't even generic fantasy and it's also the best game on that list, you just need to stop being a shitter
Bruh the whole game is just clicking on text about gay hobbit shit and missing your swings. I'm not investing 50+ hours into that and there's nothing you can say to make me change my mind.
