And there's no excuse for that. DeepL exists and it will tidy up any bullshit you throw at it making it pretty much perfect English. Sure, you have to actually know the language because it's not 100% foolproof and sometimes it doesn't understand the context or makes up bullshit so you have to catch its mistakes. But otherwise, if you know some English, DeepL will make you an A-grade English speaker.
