How about creating your own character, you fricking dimwit.

You cannot create your own character in skyrim, you can only edit your appearance. You are locked into being the dragonborn and your character does not matter, similar to making a custom character in gta online.

There are no mods that make skyrim not skyrim, and skyrim is shit, so what's the point? If I want to play something that is not skyrim I will simply do so, not spend hundreds of unpaid hours attempting to mod it into a very cheap and amateur knock off of an actual game. You would have to be moronic to do that. I don't even own skyrim, and unless a sale goes so deep that it will cost negative dollars and I will be paid for owning it, it's unlikely that is going to change.

It's another "let's harshly critique this game even though I never played it and make unfounded comparisons" -episode.

homie, you have literally no legs to stand on if you don't even know the ins and outs of game you are trying to critique. It's a really low INT move to try to do so anyway.
                Nobody cares about uninformed opinions.

So yeah, you are right. You don't get it and your comparisons or opinions are objectively and completely baseless.

Okay Gankerirgin. I'm not even here defending Skyrim or Todd. I don't think anyone is. Don't mistake me posting pictures on an image board as some sort of defense for Skyrim.
You can critique any vidya you like, but you should have at least played them (even if only for a minimal time) to form any sort of opinion worth a damn. Parroting something you heard your favourite streamer said isn't an opinion. That only deserves being laughed at.

Pretty sure OP was just asking a simple question. It seems you are in the wrong.

OP made a thinly veiled shitpost. And you couldn't even look past the veil.

Doesn't GTA have faction rep and multiple endings? It might actually be more of an rpg than skyrim. Hell it even has leveled stats that affect how you approach missions and aren't level scaled.

I honestly think it's more reasonable to compare skyrim with generic AAA slop than crpgs. This doesn't happen, of course, because it's on the bottom rung of those types of games.

Probably because it's clear OP (you) are just going to spew out baseless meme answers. And some anons already pointed out differences which you chose to ignore. But I'll offer up an answer since I've got the time.

While Skyrim isn't a true RPG at heart, it at least offers a roleplayable sandbox. It's not like the game holds a gun to your head to follow the dragonborn quest. You can even shut out the entire dragon story right after the tutorial if you ignore it. It will even stop random dragons from showing up. You'd know all this, if you had actually picked up the game once. It's not even gamebreaking in any way. Sprinkle a little mods on there if you don't even want it mentioned at all (alternate start).
Skyrim also has actual build choices, consumables, gear and stats all tied to that that widly differ how your characters plays, which is paramount for an RPG. Skyrim also allows the player to more freely engage with quests, while GTA only offers very limited choice on what mission to do and how you solve said mission.
And even while being dragonborn, the player is free to form other parts of the PC's life. Job(s), Faction(s), love(rs), marriage and even (adoptable) children. Customizable housing and a bunch of followers add RP opportunity too. To be clear, I'm in no way saying this all holds up in terms of quality, but at least it's there.

GTAV doesn't offer anything outside of flavour. Especially V. Arguably the online mode is RP'able, since people do that on massive modded servers. So there's that. The single player is a shizophrenic 3 character mess with some choices sprinkled in for flavour.
If you can set up a roleplay in that, you must have one hell of an imagination.

Don't overthink your buzzwords anwer, you ain't got nothing significant to say about it anyway.

I would argue GTA V has more RPG mechanics than skyrim, including stats that effect how you approach missions in a meaningful way and consequences for who you align yourself with.

When I'm feeling too racist irl sometimes I roleplay as an African American mass killer in Skyrim or San andreas. Gets me in touch with my blackside so to speak even though I'm german/irish irl. Like roleplaying as a black guy in vidya helps you see life from their POV irl so you undestand them far better which unironically helps you hate black people less. Because when you think about it, trust me when I say you'd be very angry (therefore more prone to violence) too if you were born cursed with poop color skin, raised in an angry hostile household by others bitter about their poop color skin, etc. It would make you fricking snap and shoot somebody in all likelyhood eventually!
