It's a live service game, he wasn't meant to be in it yet.
Lilith is basically the person that's protecting humanity and after you, the player, killed her in season 1 her death opened the way for all the baddies to return, including diablo
No, you still link your bnet account so you can still get the ultimate benefits if you buy standard from steam, as long as you bought ultimate prior on any other platform.
While I agree that they have fallen tremendously in terms of quality post warcraft 3 frozen throne, I'm sure they're still racking money with all their bullshit microtransactions, either in wow/diablo immortal/hearthstone and who knows what else. Until they go bankrupt the fall isn't hard enough.
In terms of sheer size and position in gaming culture? No. The only studio that might be close is Ubisoft but Ubisoft's highs were never as high as Blizzard.
Blizzard was THE unstoppable studio. Every single game they released from 1995 to 2010, a decade and a half, was a best seller. On top of dominating the MMO sphere with some of the most beloved expansions in all of gaming. Even during their downfall, Hearthstone and Overwatch were huge in their genre, both spawning endless clones. Battle for Azeroth in 2018 was really the true beacon of Blizzard's downfall. After that, basically every single thing they released was terrible. WC3 Reforged, Shadowlands, Diablo Immortal, Overwatch 2, Diablo 4.
No. Anyone that says otherwise must be a newbie. For a period of time, everyone I know has at least played wow before. Every friend group had at least one person actively playing.
It was like fortnite or league, except it's a b2p game where you had to pay for expansions and a subscription. Now they are a pariah.
I knew a guy who bought the 100 dollar editions on both bnet, xbox and ps.
The guy isn't some millionaire, either. He lives paycheck to paycheck.
When I asked him about it, he just said that he liked the idea of swapping to a different room of the house to play the game.
rich people don't make poor purchase decisions like buying blizzard products, nevermind two. you're a poorgay in disguise trying to suck off his favorite game studio because nobody else likes it. very sad.
indeed, where the frick is Diablo in Diablo game
Diablo was a bigot chuddie, glad they removed him.
he literally came out as trans in the third game tho...

Is there any vidya company that has fallen as hard as Blizzard? They were fricking unstoppable in the late 00s and early 10s and look at them now.
They had 1 game going in the late 00s and it wasn't even that good after 2007, they were hardly unstoppable.
Unironically no. The fall of Blizzard ist bigger than even Biowares.
Konami

Since I love Lilith I would try the game for 5$ although Im sure the lore is butchered at best and completely made up at worst
