I melee’d and knifed people whenever I could. I think selling all TMP and sniper ammo until now has led me to this situation. Also I’m playing only on keyboard.

Because I spent 95% of the game using a Mauser and Pump action. Snipers and uzis in a zombie game are not for me.

Why would you still be using the the first shotgun at the end game? How upgraded is your Red9? I just played through the game and always had ammo for at least one of my weapons. I always used melee and knife as often as I could, and would generally only use pistol unless I was in a tight spot/against the hardest enemies and bosses

ive beat the game on the wii using only starter pistol, shotgun, rifle and magnum
never ran out of ammo though and dont know how to handle this situation. at this point i would restart the game, only shoot the legs and the head of enemies to stun them followed by suplex and then knife them when they are on the ground

Semi related, I tried emulating RE4 on a phone with Dolphin and found touch screen controls easier to aim with than a controller, and I by no means am any good at using touch screens.

I played it for the first time last year (normal difficulty) and this is my inventory before the final boss. The game gives you so much excess ammo that it's ridiculous. I have no idea how you're low on ammo.

If you don't carry weapons of different classes, use the TMP like a prostitute or don't take out single enemies with the knife or try to take out minibosses with weak weapons you can run out of ammo really easily.
The first time I played I didn't understand just how much damage the magnum actually did, and wasted a lot of magnum ammo on weak enemies thinking it was just an upgrade to the handgun
