i'm probably going to fall for todd's lies again. of all of the bullshit i hated about starfield, the main thing was that it lacked the living world feeling that TES games have. i've always liked that everyone has their own house, schedule, and dialog. it adds a charm that was lacking in starfield. if they fill TES6 with generic nameless npcs it'll definitely be over though

Starfield isn't even big. It's amazing how moronic the dregs of bethesda's fanbase are when they think going through tedious menu's means the game's world is huge.
No actually it's a bunch of empty fricking nothing with repetitive "content" that scarcely even qualifies as gameplay.

I think Sweet Baby Inc was involved with Starfield. That would explain the anti White sentiment.

The big modders have abandoned Starfield, and they explained their reasons why. They said that in less than one month of play that they have grown bored with playing Starfield and do not feel any urge to continue playing or to pick it up again in the future.

And that is just one of the major reasons that the big modders have cited as the reason why they have abandoned Starfield. The other reasons have to do with the very framework of the game itself. They explain that the framework itself is fundamentally broken and severely limited. They explain that attempts to create a mod leads to discovering a need to fix the framework, and attempts to fix the framework results in creating unintended game-breaking issues that then need to be fixed which leads to more game-breaking issues, which leads the modder to give up and conclude that Starfield is broken beyond repair and the gameplay isn't worth the massive work to create even one simple mod.

The truth is, Bethesda never really endeavored to make a great game. In producing and developing Starfield, they had other priorities in mind.

The only way Bethesda Game Studios can save itself *loading* from the widespread poor reputation it has earned is to *loading* announce that they are working on a modern and robust new game engine, *loading* ie -- a proprietary game engine that they designed in-house, or *loading* an existing game engine that they have licensed and *loading* are tweaking to fit their needs.

For me, the problem is that there is no subtlety or nuance in the combat in Bethesda games. The AI is very, very dumb, there are no move-sets or combos, and there are no character builds. It's almost as though Bethesda designs their games for babby, and for to be babby's first RPG.

I don't understand why the hundreds of modgays don't just create some open source framework to drop their mods in with a big random gen world and a unity or unreal backend. It's not like the creation kit is super easy to use in comparison. Why suck Bethesda's wiener and constantly have the rug pulled from under you instead of just making your own game.

Since so many morons are in here spewing their incorrect opinions as if they were facts:
    >Modders abandoned it because the game is made in deliberately weird roundabout ways to make it more difficult to mod than even Fallout 4 was.
    >The AI is not stupid or broken like some morons are saying, Bethesda shipped the game with settings on that make the AI just give up and let you kill them, which arguably even more stupid and worse than doing it on accident.
    >There's nothing wrong with the engine, its very good in a lot of ways in fact, but all the people that originally made it are gone and its like monkeys discovering and trying to reverse engineer ancient technology. It was originally designed to make modifying it very easy, that's why its built the way it is and why the hedrews at Bethesda are trying to 'fix' that by making it harder to mod with every new release without understanding most of it.
It really is a mess so much worse than anyone realizes. Bethesda is really just done as a company. They're the next Blizzard and will get bounced around like a prostitute between microsoft, ea and activision with their only real value being a brand name dadgaymers recognize.
