i like pokemon but i don't like cutting the natdex that was a staple of the series for so long with nothing to replace it, cutting a bunch of other options like turning off the exp share and having set mode, the ugly as sin character and pokemon designs, music from normalgays like ed sheeran, lack of postgame being replaced by the DLC scam, centering the game around a shitty gimmick that is even worse than Dynamax, removing the effects of Abilities in the overworld like Magnet Pull, gutting trainer customization, removing the exploration from cities (buildings don't have interiors), shitty raids being the only way to get Hidden Abilities, and so on
If sales equate to quality, then every single Pokemon game combined is a steaming pile of dogshit compared to the annual profits GO rakes in, including precious Gen 1.
There are only two Gen 1 fans on this board (the discord trannies), so the only one outing himself here is you seething while zardposting unironically.

Missions suck, combat is easily exploited, and capturing something by rolling around it for 5 minutes to avoid attacks sucks. But it's better than the other mainline Switch games. Still worse than Pokken.
