not really? every new content update comes with a complete reset of the economy and people are forced to make new characters for the new league. they are having their exilecon event next weekend if you want to see what im talking about

If anything, having a community full of oldgays just makes it easier for a new player to buy gear good enough for early endgame for peanuts. Nothing like old toxic competitive communities like CoD or every MOBA
